Hey Tim I thought you said in one of your videos when you had trouble with the drive shaft yolk breaking on that skidder that you would try and not load it so much ,I understand it has to work but be carefull and tell Mr Pimp its gonna cost$$$$$$ Thanks for the Video and Take Care.
At the end of the day,how many loads are you getting out? I know of a guy from sun up to sundown getting out no less than a hundred loads a day in chips alone.that's not including grade logs.if anyone doubts me I'll be more than happy to give the guys name up.I've seen the guy's roll over the skidders roll it back over wait a few minutes an go right back at it like no tomorrow.
cotontop3 How many tons(2000lbs) will a 635 pull in a turn? I used to haul logs in North Carolina and the logger I hauled for wanted one. He said he heard it could pull 25 tons per turn which was about a full truck load. Is that true?
cotontop3 Ok, thank you. I found it hard to believe. Even 20 tons is a huge pull. You guys must have some pretty big equipment payments to have such nice iron. The loggers I pulled for ran 2-6 smaller skidders, all of them looked whipped. One logger told me they could figure 80-100 tons per day per skidder. That Tigercat is a beast. Do you have a shovel bunching ahead of it? How many fellar bunchers can it keep up with? Hope you don't mind the questions.
Road Boss Only one Tigercat L830C cutting for it and the 635 will bunch 2 pulls and lots of times 3 pulls together and then come to the processor. I do like to run another buncher with the 830 but I need an operator for it.
Pésimo operador.... Así como trabaja esa maquina no dura ni la mitad del tiempo para lo q fue diseñada.. En Chile he visto operadores lejos mejor q este señor.. Saludos
watching Tigercats in action never gets old!!
Its 2020 and I still watch. I love the way that Cummings sounds.

Gotta love Tigercat!!!
I bet the processor operator like seeing that thing comin,
You mean Kevin?
Mr Pimp knows how to load that 635d and make it grunt. It would take two deeres or two cats to out pull that.

i build them here in cambridge. ont.the 635 is a bitch to build for us fitters and welders
I had not seen this one before. It was before I subbed and yes this is a beast
its a very heavy load for a log skidder to pull, it must be very good machine.
Awesome video...!!!
I log. 50 years I done every thing in the Woods I load 35 trucks load of pine trees
Now that's how you move logs.........
how much does that hitch way? I run a 440c john deere cable dealy, about the size of one them tires im thinking. that's amazing thanks for sharing.
I'm not sure what that hitch weighs.
Haha it'll do in a pinch
Realmente me sorprende tigercat, es una bestia endemoniada
B awsom to c that with the duals on
Doesn't tigercat build a grapple even bigger for the 635d.
that's a big damn skidder
+Casey Maple yes it is big
just out of curiosity what engine is in it? I haven't really been around tiger cats much.
Nice job
John Deere 948l skidded got 300 HP how you love them apples
Dam whole truck load in one trip what else can you say nothing runs like a deere with a cat on its ass
nothing will ever beat a tiger cat that damn things is a skidder on steroids
Tigercat rules
how do the JD 948 and 848 compare to the 635?
Those machines will never compare to 635 unless Deere puts one more axle back there.
is that an N14 Cummins turbo diesel ?
does that skidder have a haydralic drive?
Yes
Are you able to thin with this skidder? I've only ran 748s, and 620s
You could run it in thinning but it would be overkill.
how many times do you have to fuel that thing up?
635g uses 200 to 250l in 12 hours
am skitter uperader and thats what i call a big drag
How many pulls does it take with the 635d to load a truck?
Lee Yancey It cant quite pull a load in one drag but easily does it in 2.
I run a 620c and 620d that 635d is a hoss the next time my boss tells me stop overloading the 620d I'm goin to let him watch this... great video
how often y'all run chains
+Rickey Preston it depends on the hills and how bad the winter is.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
that thing can move some wood.
Yes it will.

Road Boss It wont pull 25 tons in a turn. A good turn on flat ground will be really close to 20 tons.
