@@MonstersAbound Nurgle factions are all about spreading the gift of plague to everyone. They probably don't like Ghorst because he can't be plagued and thus can't receive their gifts.
Seems like the strategy would be a very small knot of lots zombles in the aura of ghorst, mortis engine and a corpse cart. The enemy would be sucked off by 2 auras while all your guys regenerated.
@monster poodle That does tend to be the way to play Vamp counts, clump them all together, and have your carts in the middle and just war of attrition. Tends to work well but with Skaven you don't want to because they can use warpfire lightning or menace from below right in the middle of your army and Ku'gath has some pretty decent early AoE spell so clumping is a bad idea. Then maybe have some cav units behind if they have any ranged or artillery so they can't just pepper you down
Hello and welcome to the preview to the new Patreon campaign, which is releasing a bit early and will come out after Grimgor is done. If you are a patron, go on ahead and enjoy the video. If you are not, here is some frequently asked questions: 1. "Is the current campaign cancelled?" No, the current campaign will continue according to schedule, but Patrons get this campaign on top. 2. "When will episode two release?" Patrons get two episodes of this series per week, typically on Tuesday or Wednesday and then a second episode along the weekend. For the general public the second episode will be released when the series is complete. 3. "How do I get early access?" Go to Patreon, link in the description, and subscribe there for a small monthly tithe.
I'm sure you knew about this but for those that didn't you can move the reinforcement spot before battle. It adds time to how long they arrive but it can help get positioning just right
Chaos also hates the undead because they fuck around with souls to make them a bit worthless. Not great when your whole things is eating/collecting souls.
The early war between Kugath and Ghorst are always so grindy and fun. As Kugath, it's good to linger in channeling stance for a couple turns at least before the war starts so you can use rancid visitations a bunch for clearing lords and heros. The whole thing is such a merciless grind between the two factions lol
... I mean, for the skeletons being more expensive, you are using more magic to make them move, since they don't have all the tendons and muscles that are generally needed for it, whereas zombies still have them
The best thing about zombuls is that they are sure to die a lot, adding to the mounds of corpses you can raise real troops from. VC battle sites is fairly powerful if managed correctly, because a dragon counts the same as a zombul for pile size calculations, so get 'em stuck in!
15:00 I was just thinking that! Same with the perposterously enormous dragon/giant/dinosaur skulls you see dotted around the world. I mean, I realise they'd be impossible to recruit as units due to engine limitations & general sanity, but come ooooooon, I want to smash settlements with big monsters!
glad to see ghorst faction played. i enjoy necrarchs and strigoi from the states so listening to you is like watching 'cockney's vs zombies' from the zombies point of view that was one haunted forrest
Just finished my Ghorst campaign (SFO Grimhammer) yesterday after around 90 turns, guy is hilariously broken. Once you get his unique skill-tree going, zombies tank EVERYTHING the entire warhammer 3 roster can throw at them, get around 3 necromancers per army on top of that with corpse carts and you can take on the world witha unit that costs around 38 gold upkeep each :P
I got to meet vashnaar today.....took me 4 battles to finally wipe this abomination out. I was bretonnia as well, which well.......I was bretonnia....let's just say my cav did all the killing.
Ghorst is pretty dummy thick now. I got ambushed by 3 skaven armies this weekend and still came out victorious. Very hard battle difficult. His zombies don’t need to kill everything, they just need to withstand everything.
Have you ever thought of doing the climate adaptation mod? It makes you slowly get used to otherwise bad climates so you don't get the maluses after awhile
@MonstersAbound yeah I find the faster version great, especially for someone like Ghorst who apparently starts next to a bunch of climates that aren't good for him which I find weird.
I just started this campaign and he started with a Black Coach instead of a Mortis Engine. I didn't see anything about that change in the patch notes..
To be honest I wish I knew how to build a PC the way you but honestly I have no idea all I did was let BestBuy featuring all out for me I don't know the first thing into building a PC which is one of the reasons why I prefer an Xbox series X it's already prepared for me 10 the graphics look amazing it's one of the reasons why I think I'm going to give up on Total War games on PC I'm sorry but it's just not worth the headache anymore and unfortunately I don't have to bring power like you have, well I wish I did😰😥😢😭
Tbh I thought the reason the nurgle faction and Ghorst don't get along was the whole plague that killed his brothers thing
Id forgotten he even had story... But surely that would make him hate Nurgle not Nurgle hate him.
@@MonstersAbound Nurgle factions are all about spreading the gift of plague to everyone. They probably don't like Ghorst because he can't be plagued and thus can't receive their gifts.
@@MonstersAbound
He is immune to the plague, entirely unable to receive Nurgle's generous gifts.

“Back in your box ya creepy old bastard!” Pots and kettles much?!?
Hey... Accurate
I'm sure you knew about this but for those that didn't you can move the reinforcement spot before battle. It adds time to how long they arrive but it can help get positioning just right
Ghorst in particular has some really good reasons to hate Ku'gath and Nurgle in general - remember that his whole family got killed by plague.
Chaos also hates the undead because they fuck around with souls to make them a bit worthless. Not great when your whole things is eating/collecting souls.
those fancy skellies Zombies let the fleshcloth drop and suddenly they cost 8 times more.

This guy makes his zombies into a
walking hoard of tanks
... I mean, for the skeletons being more expensive, you are using more magic to make them move, since they don't have all the tendons and muscles that are generally needed for it, whereas zombies still have them
True but I doubt the decaying flesh and muscles of the zombies are much better if at all.
For the cinematic smoothing it probably was along the lines of "if it work, do not touch it"
Was wondering when someone was gonna talk about the titanic skulls/skeletons in some of the maps.
I'm the only Total War UA-camr willing to tackle the big questions, really big...

I feel dead inside, thanks, MA!
That's the aim of every single one of my videos
UNLEASH THE ZOMBLE HORDE
YES! YOURE FINALLY PLAYING MY FAVORITE CHARACTER
glad to see ghorst faction played. i enjoy necrarchs and strigoi

If you have a chance to play Khoren use this mod is called Trajanns Beasts of Khoren all of them it is super cool
Ghorst is pretty dummy thick now. I got ambushed by 3 skaven armies this weekend and still came out victorious. Very hard battle difficult.
His zombies don’t need to kill everything, they just need to withstand everything.
And they can eventually grind most things down through shear attrition
Living in this reality would just be so terrible
Lots of interesting ways to die tho
@@MonstersAbound yes there is
Rip spawn of tepok, I always find it fun to try and save them
Tepok's spawn, sorry
Have you ever thought of doing the climate adaptation mod? It makes you slowly get used to otherwise bad climates so you don't get the maluses after awhile
Oh that sounds kinda... Ok actually, I'll have a look into that
@MonstersAbound yeah I find the faster version great, especially for someone like Ghorst who apparently starts next to a bunch of climates that aren't good for him which I find weird.
Wait normal vamps can get mournghouls? I assumed they were pirate only
They were, they were introduced at the release of immortal empires
This the random crisis one? Or do you have it set for a specific one?
I just started this campaign and he started with a Black Coach instead of a Mortis Engine. I didn't see anything about that change in the patch notes..
6:54 I wonder if I can find a random zombie mod...
So, the first sample is free eh? Hmm...
#SUPPORTYOURZOMBIES
Remember if you auto resolve you lose thousands of troops then you cann summan for free after that
This early you should have 3 To 4 armies of only zombies
I fcking love your videos pls make them more if is imposible make full empire campain
Not enough Zombonies
Does Ghorst not start with a mortis engine anymore? I decided to play him and he no longer has it?
To be honest I wish I knew how to build a PC the way you but honestly I have no idea all I did was let BestBuy featuring all out for me I don't know the first thing into building a PC which is one of the reasons why I prefer an Xbox series X it's already prepared for me 10 the graphics look amazing it's one of the reasons why I think I'm going to give up on Total War games on PC I'm sorry but it's just not worth the headache anymore and unfortunately I don't have to bring power like you have, well I wish I did😰😥😢😭

12:38

:D
I enjoy your content and play style, so I can ignore your morality, or the lack there-off
I am a lil tinker ain't I?
Dont play every battle you want To auto resolve and make 3 armies only zombies
Yo can you drop the cringe “zombles” thing
Absolutely not
