Nobody lives forever, not even planet Earth or that big fireball thing in the sky that burns you if you stand outside for far too long where it’s beaming down on you! Only us British folks can make death into doom and gloom, and something to fear. In other cultures death is seen as something positive and to be celebrated, in spirituality death is something meaningful, to make ways for the next generation and for those we lose, it’s the next chapter of their journey and to remind us of the love we have for them, and the acknowledgment that we will see them again in the next life. Death is only truly sad and tragic when it is cruelly done to the innocent when they were on the cusp of living a full life, that was meant to be their birthright. Death isn’t meant to be final, it’s meant for their loved ones left behind to cherish their memories and to live on in their hearts until they reunite in the afterlife. Death is an adieu for now

@@cjsvids8760 Eastenders only gets filmed about 8-10 weeks in advance. So do Corrie, Emmerdale and hollyoaks. June brown died early last year, but because of other storylines and her real life family, they waited until late 2022 to write dots death into the show.

The my only give it to actors who played a staple character in a soap. Also some of these are also behind the scenes who worked on the show.
At the moment I find watching anything with Paul O'Grady in very upsetting. Sounds silly, but I never realised how much I liked him.
