Thank you so much for the tutorial of Oasis. Please make a tutorial for Tres Lagrimas, just the Flamenco Strumming Techniques, no solo, just like this Oasis Tutorial. Thanks again. By the way, this is one of the best Flamenco Strumming tutorial I have seen on UA-cam.
Hey Chai - Yes we will soon!
Hi Chai! Thanks so much for your kind words! I have some more technique vids on my channel. But yes, I like your idea, will do another video on the different strum patterns I use with Guitarra Azul and post it on one of our channels. Cheers!

More to come!
Yeah, baby! I've asked ya'll for this! Thanks so much! Next? Stefano's lead for this of course in tabs if possible.
Then, how about Ride, which is even more beautiful.
Great suggestion! More to Come!
That would be great!!
@@mariposagoldenboy1 lessons would be fantastic, tabs in the manner of Justin Johnson from the guitar loft
With able to purchase copies from music notes or somewhere similar.
A little extra pesos never hurts.
@@charlielauffer7644 We will be doing a set of some of our most popular tunes this year but as you listen to our tunes you start to realize our music is more simple than you originally thought - we play with a lot of heart but our music is very approachable if you have a solid guitar technique. The videos that we have planned will demonstrate. My playing is pretty basic classical guitar technique consisting of Rest stroke, legato, arpeggio, Tremelo, and basic rasgueado. I do believe my phrasing and tone are very good... meaning I play with a lot of feeling. I am so Blessed that I have David Chiriboga who has great technique and musical instincts and a great group of Guys playing with me that make my little melodies sound even better! That's it! My secret is out!

When or will you be able to create a lesson on the lead for Esperanza, and other songs as well? I would love to purchase the tabs, plus back tracks if possible. Esperanza first please. One of many of my favs you guys play. TY!
We are releasing sheet music for 12 of our songs this year we weren’t planning on “Esperanza” but if you follow us on Facebook I’ll do a couple of videos for you on that song for you - I personally LOVE playing that song! (Capo first fret)
@@mariposagoldenboy1 I'm very excited about the release!! Ty very much. Looking forward to it.
Tres Lagrimas
OK!
Very nice. Any tutorial for leads
YES! I will be doing one for my parts this Summer!
Love it! Chords are simple, strumming pattern not so much - I will have to work on!! One question, or maybe it's just a comment, I don't see how you play a golpe on the first stroke when strumming downward with your thumb. That sends my fingers in the wrong direction and makes it impossible to hit the sound board. Anyway, I'll work on it. Thanks for doing this!
Hey Jim! Please stay tuned for "Oasis" Guitar Tutorial part2! You will see that my part is much much easier to play than David's Guitar Wizardry!
Please tutorial 2
Soon! 😃
I’m a huge fan of your music, can you do the song ‘lotus flower’?
Yes we Can!
Hi guys ! I recall 2 years ago transcribing Oasis by myself and watching in slow motion again and again to catch out your compas ! I finally played the "basic" 8 moves compas, but not the way you do, still the accent with the golpe were in place. So yeah please more about GuitarraAzul tutorials, both rythmic and lead please ! About songs: lead part of Oasis, ; both rythmic and lead of Esperanza, Milagros, Danza Malvada (actually all of the Mariposa album are just amazing !!!), Senorita, Desert Flower, La Tasca and Tres Lagrimas are my favorite after Oasis ^^
Cheers ! Sylvain
Sounds good! Thanks for the feedback. Remember that I mentioned there’s a few different variations to playing the rumba strumming. So in the end, if you still capture the grove and sound, it’s ok if you use different fingering for the strum. This is just one typical basic way to approach it.
@@DavidChiriboga Thanks for advice ! Yes the variations make it sounds same time strong as flamenco compas sound but still a light touch so illt try it anyway and keep playing it the way I do too so far haha I turned the volume up and played along so much fun ! I admit there's one point I'm still struggling with over the year eventhough practicing regularly: the triplets. I undrst the three moves, practice it "in the air" but I don't manage to get that sound even increasing speed. Strange. Anyway you and all the guitarra Azul are great musicians :) I wonder whats the story of the band forming. cheers, Sylvain
Hey HSP! Please follow us on Facebook there is a lot of Band History Tidbits on our Guitarra Azul Facebook Page! facebook.com/BlueGuitarOasis
Hey Sylvain thanks for your interest! We will definitely be doing some more of these Videos! Have you heard our New Album "Cafe Bolero" Yet? We are Likely Doing Tres Lagrimas Next with both of our Parts!
@@mariposagoldenboy1 Hi Steve ! Thanks for advice, I joined you on Facebook and also on other of your pages. Your both are great inspiring musicians, yeah rumba flamenca (whatever flamenco puro afficionados may say ;) players that inspire me through your music and encouraged me to make my efforts and that I would be capable of playing rumba too with work, patience and passion ^^ Sylvain
Do you give online lesson ? I’d love to learn a this song
Hi could you play the Esperanza and tell me the chord and Solo? Thanks
where do we buy this
I would like you to cover Ride or Lotus Flower, also any of Steves lead lines and the theory behind them, for instance is he just playing over the changes in the phrygian mode, or does he play modaly for each chord change
Hi Richard.... we will be doing many more of these in 2024 and yes I will comment on my soloing and melody process based on the chord changes for these songs... for some of these songs I'm thinking Harmonic minor rather than Phyrigian mode - and that mind set works for for those songs.... such as Tizi Melloul or Oasis, El Chino, Mariposa, Desert Flower, Tears is the Rain, etc. I definitely compose our music from a classical Background.
@@mariposagoldenboy1 i will definitely be looking forward to that

Hey mate make another tutorials
We will be Making More for Sure!
Definitely, be on the look out soon!
I know that this video/tutorial didn't get a lot of views, hence you might be hesitated to release a second part of the tutorial. But it would be highly appreciated if you did.
I play the rhythm guitar part and my dad wants to play the lead part, but we just can't figure it out on our own at the moment. I've learned the strumming pattern, the specific chords etc. The only thing stopping us from playing "Oasis" together is that it is not that easy to exactly figure out how it is played (The lead part of course).
I don't even know if I'll get a response to this comment, but if I do, I'd like to know when the tutorial (The second part) can be expected to release?
Hello and thank You! We are absolutely Committed to making more of these Tutorials and the Lead Part of "Oasis" will be the Next one we do! I'm preparing the script now and I expect this will be finished by December 2021... I meant to do it sooner but we have been super busy playing concerts again finally! and we are in the Midst of a Massive Project of Producing 10 NEW Videos of songs from our "Lotus Flower" album to be released Monthly in 2022 - which will be Awesome! David and I are Committed to creating more of these and if you have any requests please let us know!
David's Part is the most difficult... my part is much simpler and simpler to play if your classical guitar technique is solid

@@mlembrant Thank You!
its not eminor its fminor. i will never understand why a Teacher cant be specific when using a capo. we are left to transpose which is a good lesson anyway
I think the point of David's Presentation is that when we Guitar Players use a Capo we think in terms of what key it would be without a capo.... for example if the capo was on the Fourth fret and we played a g# minor chord then a c# minor chord with open position fingerings we would think in terms of e minor and a minor. It's Like Translating from one language to another. i think in those terms often when using a capo, then I have to change my thinking when going to upper positions and return to thinking in terms of the actual key that we are in. This thought conversion is problematic at times but it's the best way for us to deal with the sometimes confusing practice of using a capo. I know that Guitar players that use "open Tunings" have similar translation issues!
