@@NightPrism. Becz ur Rice isn't the Ricest Rice🍚
Uncle Roger’s rice on top
FUIYYOOOOOO
Yeah is good
Haiyaaa
Lol
Uncle Roger complain you
Native American eat Wild rice 🍚, Pakistani 🇵🇰 people use basmati rice as their staple food and Our Bangladeshi 🇧🇩 people eat short white rice,I grew up by eating short white rice all the time.
Brother your videos are appreciative 😊.
Mashallah.
Love 🥰 from Shabab Ahmed 💕,🇧🇩.
Wild rice and basmati are my faves too!
Try Red Rice as well. It's a staple in Kerala in India.
you should try chinigura, it's a special type of rice from bangladesh
Yes
If you cook black rice with white rice the white rice turns purple 💜
Yeah, as a Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 for as long as I can remember I’ve only eaten basmati rice majority of the time 😅. Good to know that Gully’s a Fellow basmati rice brethren !. Also I have a recipe for tumeric rice. It’s really simple , yet delicious!. Just add tumeric powder , cardamom pods , cinnamon sticks and mustard seeds and maybe some curry leaves while you cook basmati rice in the rice cooker and you can pair it with any curry you want !. Hope you try this Gully !.
Jasmine rice does smell floral but depending on the qualities. More expensive, the deeper the smell
My Austronesian ancestors domesticated rice! So I, with much bias, am with jasmine all the way!
Jokes aside, every Asian is biased for rice, but like others said, rice that is great value for the price and feeds people well is the best rice, no matter the strain! Shoutout to all the world's farmers, especially rice farmers!!! 🤣❤️🍚🔥
Rice that are clumpy and a bit sticky is perfect for any side dish pairing, really good to eat it with your hand as its not too "granular." Long grain rice great for curry or gravy, where the rice won't get too clump up after dousing it in sauces. While sticky rice is good for dessert, mixed it with melted palm sugar or condensed milk.
With wild rice the best way to eat it is to put dried cranberries inside and mix it up
My favorite is short white and basmati is second.
I love basmati!
Can't be beat
@@GoldenGullystop eating beef buddy
All rice is the best
Until you eat basmati
@@aabubakerr36basmati is underrated af
I love rice with soy sauce or fish sauce
I use Jasmine rice♥️
I love rice
Ohhh, I'm going to have to try that wild rice. Sounds delicious
Wild Rice is really good with fish
Basmati always favorite
I ❤ jasmine rice
basmati rice is the only rice I like lol
the other rice is either too sharp for me (I like my rice to be a lil bit mushy, like a porridge almost) or I just don't really like the taste that much. and, tbh, I'm more of a pasta guy myself.
Jasmine is prolly like the only type of rice I ate in my everyday life 🌾
Jasmine 🔝
You make the best english videos gully
I have only eat brown rice black rice white rice and jasmine rice
Rice pudding is my favorite rice
I think it is chuchinton red rice
You forgot Long grain and Egyptianꠥ
I love your videos bro especially ones where you cook food that looks so delicious and nice 😊
Jasmine rice is just as good as basmati
Personally, my favorite rice is Long Grain White & Brown. And my favorite way to cook rice is in 2 ways:
Way 1 - Steamed with a pinch salt, a sprinkle of black pepper, a hearty amount of thyme, & a small dash of cumin.
Way 2 - Red (or Orange) rice. There's this one little Mexican restaurant about 10-16 minutes from my place that makes _the best_ red rice. It's fluffy, tangy, it goes with anything like a good quesadilla, flautas, & so much more.
Tbh i love coulmped up basmati rice ❤
Stop eating beef
My mom makes this dish with black rice and it's almost pudding like but it's quite healthy, and she puts in jaggery for sweetness and coconut and it's super good, simple and very comforting
You should make kheer kulfi. @GoldenGully
ACTUALLY THO THATS A GREAT IDEA
The rice is indeed yummy rice.
My favourite is sella rice.
I love Jasmine Rice
Wild rice mushroom risotto
basmete Rice 🤤
Rice Eaten In The UK is mostly Long grain I think it is Bad But I Eat Basmati and Basmati Is very Expensive here but It tastes Premium and Long grain Just Tastes Sooo cheap
Try Iranian rice, it makes a difference.
All rice is actually pretty good tasty 😋
I think we can all agree that basmati rice is the best.
How are you suppose to cook it someone cooked it for me before and it was hard and kept getting stuck in my teeth
@@knockofftasty9693 then whoever cooked it is just not that good at cooking rice ig no offence
Haiyaaa
- Uncle Roger
you mean jasmine rice a bit more scented maybe its like malaysian nasi lemak, where the rice is cooked in coconut milk
Gully, please tell me when you use asafetida (hing) in Pakistani dishes. I know it's used a lot in Indian-Pakistani food, but I haven't seen you use it in a dish so far.
Yo. Why you bringing my childhood trauma. It's very smelly and it traumatized me lol. It's used as a herbal remedy for babies when they have chest pain.
@@-hazzard-8002 then why is it used in food if it scares y'all?
@NovikNikolovic I genuinely haven't heard where in food it's used. Maybe it's used in small quantities. I don't know but it's smell is downright appalling. Or it might just be me.
@@-hazzard-8002 idk maybe it's a problem specific to you. Same way my dad can't look at recipes that require milk/cream and garlic cuz he remembers it as a very bad medicine he'd be forced to take as a child.
Granted the finished product will be a cream sauce that he doesn't mind the taste of, it's just, he can't actually look at the process. It's weird.
@@NovikNikolovic yeah. At least I haven't heard of any dishes that use heeng.
Basmati is peak I can have it everyday
Brown rice is basically the OG popular mass-produced rice before the introduction of white rice.
Rice kulfi incoming,u know it’s gully’s cheat day
Black rice risotto is so fire
Basmati rice is always S tier for me
Serve wild rice with caramelized onions, carrots (finely dice and charred), toastesd pecans or walnuts, and dried cranberries. Season with black pepper, nutmeg, and allspice. Also with roasted with squash on the side or half a small squash like acorns squash as your bowl.
I think brown rice is healthy option if not mistaken.. it has lower starch i believe..
I like shorter grain rice. I feel like texturally, the longer a grain is the more I don't feel comfortable with, but I must also not like medium grain so much cuz risotto is a medium grain and I hate it 😭 I'm always willing to try something twice ofc. I like Indian food and would like to try more Pakistani food so I will try basmati! Thank you for the video explaining the different notes/textures of rice 🐰💜✨️
It would be good if you made rice kulfi but it will taste good because of Mexican drink worchata
You mean “Horchata”
Most definitely a Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup 🍲💪🏻
Basmati is great but its not really good if you eat it daily basis its only use in special otherwise we use normal rice 🤌
It really depends on where you're from and what you grew up eating.
time for RICE KULFI
Red rice is also good.
Spanish Rice!!!
There is also brown basmati rice
Now let’s make rice kulfi 😂😂😂
So my mom is Korean, so we eat a lot of short white rice, but when she eats other kinds of rice she complains it *doesn’t* stick together, since that’s what short white rice does, so kind of funny
Umm sir, i am glad you said basmati. My mama raised me on Royal basmati and that’s all I know to cook 😂
The best rice is the one that i'm currently eating 😂
make kheer kulfi
WHERE DA WATERMELON RICE AT
Naaaaah 😅
Can't wait for wild rice kulfi
highest nutritional value is all the colourful rice compared to the white rice.
Basmati also has the lowest levels of arsenic in it so it's also the healthiest rice to eat.
Calarosa on top
The best rice is matta
Here’s how to make rice kulfi, kulfi is basically ice cream thats very popular in Pakistan
Buldak Ramen good!!!
Jasmine rice is my everyday rice, but basmati comes to a close second. Basmati has a better ‘scoop feel’ when eating biryani.
Basmati🤌🏻
Luv from India 🇮🇳
Must try Chinigura rice; it tastes slightly sweet and is used in Bangladeshi biryani, taking it to another level
Gully can you make a cake kulfi.plsssssss
Persian rice is basmati on crsck bro trust(and only if it’s legit, none of that fake shi)
MIX IT ALL AND TRY IT!
Did you cook it in a rice cooker? If no, then you're a MADMAN(unless you're doing risotto).
The best rice dishes are Risotto and Paella and both don’t require a rice cooker
@@eddywashere3391 for risotto and paella, I'll consider that as exceptions(also with arancini and suppli). Thanks for pointing out. I'm a MADMAN on forgetting it.
You should try emu egg next(kinda expensive about 285.97 CAD)
Or Turtle egg(7.13 CAD)
Snapping Turtle egg btw
I've been eating basmati all my life. I can't imagine anything else lol
Kulfi rice 😂
