😱😱😱😱 the second island that you showed is one of my islands. “Sapphire”, fairycore has been my go to theme, I have two fairycore islands and a tropical fairycore island. I tried an elegant island and failed, I’m going back to fairycore 😂
Me, who doesn’t have a theme because I’m too lazy to do anything: *infinite power*
My theme is Buffcore, most of my villagers are jocks and grumpies, all the girls left. Barbells everywhere.
my island used to be covered in those half-body models and my house was full of them too. Now there's only a few around. I got them "working" the food stations.
Also, my entrance used to be lined with skeletons but now there's golden armor statues there instead.
i got a seperate switch so i can do themed islands and when I do my Halloween one I'm gonna go all out with the creepy stuff I'm stealing that lol

I'm SpookyCore and I have way too many flowers as well as having my island in the format of a normal village like Stardew Valley (house on a hill, mini farm, my villager houses, spooky stuff everywhere, the nookling shop with scooters for the babies, Ables with seats an tables with food, fountains and I have a fairy area and mermaid cove)..... It's a mess 😂
The way I'm planning my island is somewhere between fairy, forest, and cottagecore.
Hopefully I don't get burnt out and let it get super messy like my old one lol
*raises hand* Teacher, what if our island doesn't have a theme? What if we just placed random stuff everywhere and visit the island on occasion because the time it takes to design an entire island around a specific core takes too much time and energy?

I have mix with forestcore, normcore and islandcore. This sounds weird I know but don't worry, you can mix whatever you want on your island, just like me :3
forestcore themes bop 🌲🌳ive got like a mushroom forest going on. just a tap of fairy core. its like a mix, a fine paste even
I have whatever i like in one island core. :) Castles, the color pink and several villiagers who are pink. OH and hearts, (lake , a pond and a falls ) Also it is normal core (aka doesn't have tons of stuff that makes it impossible to move around )
As a spookycore participant, I'm not a goth or pretending to be goth. I just like horror movies and mystery, so I decided to make my island, Purgatory, into an interactive storyline. Once it's done people will have to search for clues to find out what truly happened on Purgatory. Dream addresses leading to islands that are in some way linked to the story, UA-cam links, websites, you name it. Basically an ARG. I just thought it'd be cool to have a sort of thing players would be able to explore! 🙂
Also I think normcore I think has 2 descriptions 1 normcore is like 2020 islands and 2 Normcore is wen you have NO theme

I don't know what my Island would be...
I just tried basing it off of like- an actual place!
I made my own separate Plaza; with the stores near it in a perfect line!
then it goes to the housing units,
one side of the island looks a lot more modern while the other is more rugged!
the beaches have "no lifeguard" signs; and there's just a bunch of random stuff thrown about that I thought made sense!
My island is just a jumble of my personality and what I think my villagers would like lol
My island is kinda weird-
It’s a bit foresty but also like city core on the lower parts. So forest city core I guess.
i like to call my island Pinterest core - all random individual design aspects from Pinterest that have no correlation or transition into each other
Me having random short bursts of creativity led me to having a Halloween section, a small little cafe area, a carnival area where I do my trades, but I also have random shit everywhere and by the time I think to move villager houses next to the spot they’d fit next to, my energy is gone 😂 So you have Genji next to the Candy Land esque Carnival, Sasha randomly next to the museum and more 😂😂😂😂

I have themes for different areas. Forest for part, community garden, zen garden in the back, pirate cove, mermaid beach. Jungle/ancient for the museum, and then I add my house a love hotel hahahaha
I don't have a theme because I am someone who doesn't come up with creative ideas and I make whatever stands out to me.

My island is what I wanna call towncore: where planning a super detailed island is overwhelming so I just made a bunch of tree-lined hedged paths, villager backyards and like three simple areas.
WHYS THE FAIRYCORE ONE SO ACCURATE BECAUSE THAT WAS MY REASONING WHEN I STARTED and then i switched to zen/japan core because i had vacation there with my family and it was so beautiful
Well I'm a mix of forest, fairy, normal and galaxy/space core with holiday items thrown in. It's fun to do but the items I'd love are just so frustrating to find lol
I really feel both the forestcore and cottagecore themes lol my island is a mix of cottagecore but with white flowers and white themed villagers (except for a few that i love too much to get rid of) and random items bc i don’t have very much stuff 😂😂😂

im currently doing a horror film themed island, more so on the side of classics like the halloween series or the saw films!
Mine is like fairy/tropical/mermaid/galaxy/Sanrio/neon/mushroom/rave… “core” with a hint of spooky I guess cause I have a little hidden Pennywise area. Also have a Starbucks but don’t know where that would fit in a theme, it’s just there cause I love Starbucks lmao

The Mario core: You named your Island Mario Land and prayed to god they had the Nintendo items from new leaf, and then you were serious regretting the name until they added the Mario themed furniture.
I know this from personal experience… Nintendo will answer your prayers if you pray enough

I have different themes for different neighbourhoods! There's citycore in the east, lakelands in the north, forestcore in the north west, farmcore in the south west, and mid South is islandcore!
I'm a citycore but now that I saw desertcore I want that! Now if you only I wasn't lazy and never will come around to making it.
