My children don't have godparents either. I apparently have/had godparents but I don't know them. I don't even remember if I've ever met them in my life. We're just not religious at all, so we never saw the need. My son (27) is old enough to take care of his little sister (11) if anything ever happens to us, so she doesn't need them for that purpose anyway.
