I’m so glad I found this tutorial of yours. I’m wanting to make a wood grain with a floral peekaboo. Seeing your tutorial has encouraged me to do it! Thanks 🥰
I have found using the dark first and then going back in with the lighter browns from Tim Holtz will also help give it the texture, depth, and color variations for woodgrain. You can also go back with your chip brush and a little cup of alcohol; dip your brush and dap off most of the alcohol and swipe just like you are adding the brown ink. It will lighten the areas you brush and achieve the same as using lighter inks. I’ve done 2 woodgrain myself, both peekaboos, and they turned out fabulous. I’m still fairly new to tumblers so I was very impressed with myself. I wish I could post pictures here but I will post them on your Facebook group. Either way, this is beautiful and I can’t wait to try a similar decal for a woodgrain.
@BRITTANY BARNES BOUTIQUE I've tried ever fast set anyone has come out with. This one definitely moved into my top two favorites with this one leading lol and I like that it can be used as a final coat too!
That’s stunning as usual. Alcohol inks are my favorite and I seal them only with kamar varnish. It’s matte and doesn’t change the color of the ink like the rustoleum sometimes does. I never get the green tint and it never repels the epoxy.
Wow!! So beautiful! Do you have any advice on not leaving any adhesive on the cup when you take the stencil off? I’m having a hard time with that, even though I’m using removable vinyl. I just bought some stencil vinyl to see if that’s better. I would just love to figure out what I’m doing wrong!
I have had that issue in the past… But since I started using the big role of removable vinyl from Hobby lobby I have not had any issues. Usually I go for the extra large role when it is on 40% off sale

Absolutely gorgeous. This gives me an idea for a sunflower mug that I am working on. 😁

That is gorgeous and I love that glitter! You could use the same decal file for a burst style tumbler too.
I just tried Artistry Epoxy 1:1 Fast Set for the first time last night. I've tried all the Fast Sets and this is my new favorite

Brilliant and kick-ass BEAUTIFUL 🤩
Your wood grain looks good. Wood has imperfections and curved lines not always straight.
This is soooooo stunning! I love your work!

What turner do you use?
I use both MH turners and turnzilla turners. They’re both wonderful options, companies and their info is linked at the bottom of the description
I can't find this file on Esty can you help me find it
Same. I tried the number listed-no results. Thanks!
