Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. As in Defense of the Ancients, the game is controlled using standard real-time strategy controls, and is presented on a single map in a three-dimensional isometric perspective. yes, damage still same or worse cause each attacks only deal 50% damage
can, but NOT guarantee. they are separate attacks. 1 may proc. 1 may not. both may proc. both may not.
also, Jakiro LOSES to Giant Wolf creep. 100% damage reduction. so you need to skill Giant Wolf or have a mael to kill the Giant Wolf

It's literally just 1 attack split by 2, the only add bonus is Each head has a chance to trigger any attack effect such as MKB, Mjolnir and can have an auro effect like Desolator and Skadi.
While Weaver and AA got Huge Bonus Damage for each attack, and the hero already built for carry. Even AA has the bonus range that Jakiro doesn't have.
Under me will be many kid and low MMR players who will sh*t talk and ignore this say everything they want but knowing nothing about the mechanic.

@@cgc7032but think about it, dota has always been about counterpicking, and so many games were lost from min 0 because somebody on the enemy team saw your pick, and then counterpicked you so hard that you didn't stand a chance. With the new trend of supports playing the carry role, you can first phase pick your pos1 jakiro or sth, knowing that the enemy can't be sure if it is the support player or the carry player picking this hero. Casting more doubt in the heart of enemy when they think about counterpicking you is a win in my book.

Tidehunter's anchor deals 60% (base damage only). Technically it should work, dunno why in the test he couldn't reduce THDs damage to 0.
EDIT: I think base damage reduction takes place before total damage reduction. So the explanation is that tide reduces Jakiro' s damage to 40% then Jakiro's reduction further reduces the damage to 20%.
TLDR: Total damage reductions are additive. Base damage reduction (Tide) stacks multiplicatively with total damage reduction (Jakiro).
7.36 has been the biggest game change ever since. it redefined how to play dota. now uts a lot harder to teach newbies 😂😂😂😂
Reminds me of Midas meta with OP talents back in 2019 when huge increase in GPM and XPM allowed Jakiro to go carry.
Jakiro's innate ability just bring the "Prepare for trouble, and make it double" to another level.

It's total damage reduction, so it'll just be one rapier like with everyone else. It's only different for things like mkb that have separate damage instances. Though because of how it's coded, it does play funky with other sources of damage reduction (Dragon Knight's fire breath drop's Jakiro's damage to 10%).
Back in the Day Heros of Newerth added a 2nd attack to one characters passive, he quickly became the strongest carry in the game for like 2 patches then it got removed and he sucked again
They better not nerf Jak because of these deviants

What's the value in this innate if each attack is doing 50% damage? Unless you need to break through Refraction or smth
It doubles the effect of proc items or bonus damage from Bloodthorn or Tag Team. It also lets him quickly break hit-based objects like wards, tombstone, phoenix sun, etc.

So you will be stuck waiting for a couple of patches before they decide to fool around with him, and then a couple of more before they decide that it is worth learning and refining the hero to use in a real game

2 attacks with 50% damage penalty, so outside of 'looking cool' it's really just a very farmed Jakiro. Good for MKB, sure, but you're still buying MKB on Jakiro at that point. You only get half the benefit from Mjolnir because of the CD as well.
