How to sprout a walnut for a new walnut tree - Self-sufficient Living

Bonjour! Walnuts can be a valuable part of self-sufficient Living. They are nutritious and healthy, you can store them for a long time, and you can squeeze oil from them that you can use in cooking or as fuel, for example, for a diesel generator. So when our walnut tree last year gave only four now not particularly appetizing-looking walnuts, I didn't have to think long about putting them in the ground for perhaps the birth of a new walnut tree. The more walnut trees the better.

Heb vorige winter hetzelfde gedaan met (wilde) kastagnes en eikels en dat lukt zeer goed. Ben de zaailingen nu aan het uitplanten hier in Normandië

Leuk hè om die boompjes te zien groeien. Eiken en es komen hier vanzelf op. Ik heb ook wilde en tamme kastanjes gezaaid. Dat worden ook al aardige boompjes.
