Love this new content style, so really don’t feel like you need to apologize because you might think it’s “boring”. I’ve been a fan for YEARS now and have, from the bottom of my heart, loved every second of it! I and many others just get excited to watch any of your content, and seeing you fall back into doing what makes you happy and fulfilled! ❤
Watching this series is rather enlightening so far. You can see the film camera experimenting he did roll over into his digital photography. Also the influences of other photographers and styles, mainly New York street film photographers, in his current content and shooting style. And probably the favorite part. He said he was "getting old" but really it's just maturing. As a photographer, as a "creative", but mainly just as a person. The last few years globally as well as his own life impacted us all. But even just this series. Every photo doesnt have to be "BANGERS!" This is real. This is Melbourne. This is his life. His world. What he sees. And it's enjoyable content. Thank you.
Super spot on with this comment man, it’s cool to see how others notice my progression as I mature and evolve as an artist and in my day to day life. Thanks for watching.
Ich bewunder das ja die Art der Streetfotografie von dir. Hier in Deutschland würde bestimmt gleich jemand sagen: "warum fotografieren sie mich"..... Greetz from Germany
I like to look at street photography as talking photos of things in places where they shouldn't be, finding the hidden gem in a busy (or not so) busy place. I appreciate that you're sharing everything you've taken it's important to see the wins and losses. I'm excited to follow this chapter of photography through your eyes.
Nice and chill, love it! It's just more of what I always enjoyed from your content, but more relaxed. By the way, some of these shots were a tad too dark, you might be leaning too hard on the exposure compensation. Maybe try bracketing?
I love this style of content and keep coming back to rewatch, it's super relaxing, I feel like I can see the creative process a little more too. Don't get me wrong the other style of videos are great too but this is such a chill vibe and I'm here for it 🙏❤️ keep doing a great job!
If Daniel Ricardo did street photography…. Love your content, not boring what so ever, it’s interesting to see real life images come to life in real time. Defo go the electric car next, Tesla model 3 LR is unreal and a good all rounder, performance is a licence loser. Can’t wait to see more city’s from down under.
Keep at it, is nice watching someone doing candid photography Melbourne. What I like is manual focus manual vintage lenses, they do wonders for my photography but I shoot streets in the Professor Hines style where people are accessories to the street photos
Great shots! Fun to see how you’re evolving. Do you want the new Sony with the global shutter? With it you’d be able to thane completely silent photos without the rolling shutter that you get from other sensors.
@@7thEra I could be wrong, but I think it means that when using electronic shutter, the sensor reads the info from the whole sensor at once. As opposed to scanning from top to bottom. So objects that move, or camera movement, won’t distort the image as it normally does with electronic shutter. Personally I want that because on my Fujifilm there is a mode where it takes lots of photos when I half press the shutter, not saving any of them so I can just keep holding the button half pressed, then when any action happens I can fully press the button to save the last few photos that it took (and future ones as I keep holding it). It doesn’t allow for using the mechanical shutter for this. (Imagine 15fps being shot mechanically as you wait for action to happen :P) Personally I use it for photographing birds as they take off. I can’t react fast enough, but the pre-shooting mode still gets some nice shots as the birds take off. But the problem is when I pan after the birds, suddenly the tree or whatever they are sitting on becomes super distorted and skewed. That’s why I want global shutter. (Sorry for the wall of text. :P I guess I am not very good at being succinct.)
What an amazing video ! Pleasant. I would like to know what camera did you use for the pov video ? And what cameras settings you used for the pov video ? Thanks. Keep uploading.
Love the perspective and street photo tips. As for your question of how people watch it, for me I watch videos like this when I'm working. I'm a writer, mostly, so during my first drafts, I watch content to keep my brain engaged. idk it works for me to get a lot done and have fun while I work too. I watch on my ipad next to my laptop.

So happy to hear this. I appreciate your support. See you in the next one 🤘

Would love to see Toorak Rd, starting from the park/Punt Rd through to Canterbury Rd (bonus points without getting a tram in most shots!)
how long would that take to walk?

I feel you are getting in a much more relaxed mood lately and this fits well within the POV series. Keep up the good work!
Good to see you are back making videos.
Hope you are alright and well :)
Greetings from Germany
Thank you, I’m doing good man. Thank you for checking in. Hope you’re well too 🤘

Almost within 50 metres of the building where I work
These videos are great. Just getting into street photography and it’s just reminding me to not overthink and just shoot
Keep going man!! It's super entertaining.

Also Melbourne looks so similar to Vancouver, Canada where I live. Kept thinking that as I watched this.
You’re right. F1.4 is useless, what I REALLY need is F1.2! Thanks for the 💡

I honestly have no idea what global shutter means but I’ll have a look into it

So you have brought over your GF from Holland? First I thought she was a stranger and you just bumped into eachother and do some photography.
Watching on my laptop
Nice 👍
Watching you on a phone you should show the pictures you're girlfriend took as well 😉 till next time ❤
First
Love your videos ! ☀️
Clever one street theme. Patient girlfriend. You should have helped her figure out how to use her film camera.
Great to see you back!!
Great to be back 💪

Hey, I used a Sigma 50mm f2.0 from their contemporary series

That’s so cool to hear! It’s always super fascinating to hear how people watch the POV’s
mate now you can't stop until you've done literally every street in Melbourne
Yeah I’ve fucked myself haha. Nah it’s going to be fun, just gotta trust the process
this is good for people that dont live in said busy places . look forward to your next vid . nice work as per .
Exactly right man. We don’t all live in NYC or Tokyo so these videos are here to show the reality of street photography in a normal city
The porsche at 20:30 ;)
Love these videos. They are very relaxing to watch. :)
I’m happy to hear man, thanks for watching
