Dennis, I appreciate you posting your video’s. They are clear, concise, well explained & demonstrated step by step instructions. A really big help to many of us who like to maintain and repair things but may not be proficient in certain fields such as this. It is people like you who make the world a better place. Thank you again Dennis.
Hi Dennis: Just an *FYI NOTE:* In this video where you pull the hook end of the Blade Engagement Cable Spring out of the hole in that bracket (at 5:00 min.) ... that hole wore completely through that bracket on my mower. (Obviously the blades would no longer engage.) I did NOT replace the bracket, I just drilled another hole about the same size through the bracket and attached the spring through it. No problem since. My YTH2246 is 12 years old now (2007 model) and still going strong. :)
Thank you very much for watching, Jim! That is a great tip too! I can see how that hole would eventually wear all the way through....drilling a new hole is much better than having to replace the whole piece! Thanks
This video was great! I am a 60 year old woman and after watching this it was pretty easy to remove the deck to clean it and replace the blades. The hardest part was breaking the nut free that was holding the blades. Thank you Dennis
I had no idea how to do any servicing on my Husqvarna riding mower so turned to UA-cam when it broke down while my husband was stranded outside the USA during the COVID-19 pandemic. After watching several other videos, I found Dennis Coffey’s, and his are so clear to see, well broken-down and easy to follow that I now almost look forward to working on my mower! Thank you Dennis!
Thank you! I am a 63 years old woman, and I was able to take the deck off, clean the dead grass out, put a new belt on, and with the help of my 65 year old husband, get the deck back under the tractor and get the cotter pins back on. It works great now!
DENNIS!! Thank you for eliminating the BS - you should post a "How To" video on just THAT! Came here to learn how to change the drive belt. Ended up watching most all of your Husqvarna videos. Now all I wanna do is work in my mower. I'd call that a success! Thanks for what you do.
Good video. Straightforward, no b.s. Gets right to the point of disassembly/assembly. This is the way all "how to" videos ought to be done. Don't need to have 15 minutes about how the mower is bought or why the deck is coming off. Just gets down to it and gets it done. Easy peasy. Thanks.
The best video on how to do this you answered every question I may have had you showed every detail no one else does hands down the best Video on how to remove deck thanks
After watching this twice I now feel much more confident that I can remove the deck, change the belt, and change the blades. This was an incredibly helpful video. Thanks so much for taking the time to do it and for pointing out all the tricky parts. Great stuff!
I was having a bad day on Monday, a large piece of cloth got caught up in the blades of my mower, and I had to take off the deck. I was quite stressed, but your video was very helpful. And it may sound odd, but your smile at the beginning of the video when you mentioned how easy it is to remove the deck, was actually kind of comforting. Thanks for posting this.
Hey Dennis. I'm a widow learning how to take care of my farm and yard equipment on my hobby farm. I really appreciate the straightforward instructions you give. Your good camera work makes it easy to follow along. Who says you cant teach this 66 yr old lady some new tricks? This way I spend my money on having fun rather than on maintenance I can do myself. You're a peach!
Every time I need to do maintenance on my Yard Tractor, I come see your videos. You're like the neighbor next door who helps me out when I need a hand. Thank you for your whole series.
@@dwcoffey Dennis, I have to agree...this video about the deck removal/install was direct to the point without all the garbage that others people have put out. I have a question for you though, in front of the deck you have the two anti-scalping wheels and brackets...my unit is missing the right one. Could I get you to take a look at yours and see if you can find any part numbers on yours? Thanks.
Hi Dennis,, This video is the gift that keeps on giving. I used it to guide me when I replaced a belt two years ago, and today I referred back to it as I put on a new belt. I also used your video on replacing the drive belt which was excellent. Getting service from a dealer in my area is virtually impossible because they are always backed up three or four weeks. So much easier(and cheaper) to DIY. Thanks so much for your efforts.
Thanks, Dennis. Pulled this video up on my "shop laptop" to help me drop the deck on my YTH21K46 in order to power wash it, now that the mowing season is done. I also made the pulley guard modifications from your other video and those have worked incredibly well!
Thank you Dennis! The belt on mine just broke and after learning from you on another video how to change the oil I knew you would come through again! One thing though, I was surprised at all the build up of debris on your deck. After each use you may try lowering the deck and cleaning it with a leaf blower. I’ll even blow off the motor too and get all the dust off. Thanks again!
Hi Don, thanks for watching! I normally do take my leaf blower or the garden hose and clean off the deck when done cutting. As I recall, on this particular day, I had just cut a lot of property back in the woods and had a ton of stuff get blown onto the deck. Knowing I was going to remove the deck to change the belt, I didn't bother to clean it off until I had the deck out. Thank you sir, I appreciate your comments!
Dennis, Thanks, your the man! I followed up with your video on changing the spindle. I have pulled the deck and changed spindles several times but picked up some good tips from your videos. Thank you for your time.
Thanks for posting this Dennis. Have had my Husqvarna two years and this season bent three blades and finally broke a mandrill today. So...taking the deck off tomorrow and wanted to see your video again in making certain that cable is taken off and put back on right. DAMN STUMPS!
You the man guy your tutorial really help me out getting what I need to get done did on my Husqvarna Rider which is a yth2348 machine it is all the same like you said it really helped out a lot, thanks a million
Your video's have helped me so much on the YTH22V46. My dad passed away last spring and I can't find the Owners Manual anywhere so I stumbled upon your video's and I love them. Thank you from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Angie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad passing. I am glad to know that these vids have helped you though! If you need it, you can go the the Husqvarna website, click on the 'support' link and download the Owner's Manual and the Repair Parts manual. Thank you for watching, Angie!
Thank you very much for making this video. My husband and I fixed our mower ourselves thanks in part to this video.Your videos are clear, to the point, but also you don't skip over anything.Your southern accent is calming and easy to listen to!
You made it look easy.mI looked at other videos of the same thing, and each had a broken weld as yours did. I bolted a piece of angle iron there, with some bolts through the bracket and into the deck because I was in a hurry one day. But now I will bite the bullet, take down the deck, clean it, and have it welded. Next project is the decl lever, the bushings need to be replaced, takes all my strength to move the lever. Can’t say the quality of their welds were so great, replaced the starter motor, and gas tank twice.
Dennis, I enjoy all of your videos. They are better than the manual (ha-ha)--more personal ya' know? Do you only do Husqvarna? Also, I have a 46'' Husq. YTA --what's the difference in a YTH? Paul
It had been awhile since I've had to take the deck off my Ariens A22A46 lawn tractor. It's pretty much a Husqvarna. I looked in the manual to refresh on how to do it and my eyes just glazed over. The page in the manual is really terrible and I was getting overwhelmed but your video fixed all that. Thanks so much, Dennis. You saved my day.
Thank you so much for this video. I’m 16 and just took the deck off of my dad’s to put a new belt on. It feels nice that I was able to do something like that that, something that I’ve never done before.
Thank you Mr. Coffey, this is the only video I can find that would help me put the tension cable back in the right place. I'm absent minded sometimes. It's a curse. Thanks for the assistance sir👍
Thank you Dennis. My husband left me with a broken deck. My son-in -law took it to get it welded for me and he dropped it off and had to leave. I am not the patient sort so I found your video. It was so easy to follow step by step. I thank you and my yard thanks. My soon to be ex should thank you.
Well, after owning my new Husqvarna YTH22v46 for three years, the underside of the deck is like new again and I did decide to re-install the pulley guards. The guards are easy enough to remove to clean the deck. AND I also found that the deck was 3 1/2" side to side at the blade cutting edge, but, when I turned the blade to check front to back for levelness, I found 3 1/2" to the rear and 2 7/8" at the front on the cutting edge of the blade. I loosened the lock nut and turned the adjusting nut a few revolutions till I got 3 1/2" at the front to match the rear measurement. No wonder the grass didn't look like the cut I expected. I'm pleased now. I removed my 'black' colored blades that looked as worn as yours and I bought a couple pairs at Lowe's that are Orange and they appear to be heavier duty than the black ones and are the same Hi Lift style/shape as well. Thanks for all your help buddy!!!!
I'm so glad this helped! I agree, I've noticed that some of the aftermarket blades are thinner than others. I've had a set that was so thin, I couldn't get the bolts to fully tighten on them and had to put an extra washer on the bolt. I'm very careful now about checking blades before I buy them. Thanks again for watching!
Excellent videos on the Husqvarna riding lawnmower. The descriptions on the videos and the explanations are superb. I will be able to remove the deck and replace the driving belt with no problem.
Just wanted to thank you for your terrific videos, Dennis. I shopped for a new riding mower this year, and watching your videos gave me the confidence to purchase this Husqvarna tractor. Since I got it, I have referred to your videos several times for maintenance. Yesterday, the pin and washer on the front lift lever popped off, and I immediately pulled up this video and was able to find where the parts were missing. I appreciate you!
Thanks for this video. I had to take the deck off because the supporting bracket on the left hand side snapped off at the weld, the same as yours! I've taken the deck and the bracket to a local welder for repair. Your video made this an easy task :)
Dennis this was such a good video. I have an Ariens 46 inch deck. Identical mower as this one. I had to take my deck to a friend for some welding. This video was a great tutorial. Great presentation.
This is a really nice video. The instructions on the manual that comes with my riding mower are confusing, and I was afraid to remove the deck. But after watching your video, I was able to take if off within minutes. With the deck off I could easily clean it, check the belt, and replace the blades. Thanks much.
Thanks Dennis, I have the same Tractor and took the deck off in the fall. I just got it back from having the Engine seal replaced. Great step by step procedures to make sure it was put on correctly. Three months is a long time to remember, when you don't do repairs everyday. Tom Holdwick
I totally agree, Tom! I always struggle when I have taken something apart and don't put it back together for weeks or months. Thanks for watching and I'm glad this helped you!
I am a newly single mom who screwed up a pulley on her mower deck but had a spare deck. I had it all figured out to get it off except the stupid freaking wire that engages the blades. Thank you for this video and helping me get my confidence and independence back.
Just got my new Husky YTH22V46 this past summer. First time removing the deck to install my BERCO 700255 snow blower. Have to look for a video on how to install that shortly. Dennis's deck removal video was helpful. Much different and easier than my old Husky.
@@dwcoffey Got you saved as had to refer back to it to put it back on last spring and remove it today. Nice to know your video is here for reference if needed.
Thanks for the helpful video ! I myself have Snapper rear engine riders , I bought one of these Husqvarna YTH 23V48 for the wife & I'm not crazy about it but it helps me out with mowing I'm all for it . The one thing I do when she is done with it or me is take a leaf blower & blow all the grass clippings off the top of the deck. Thanks again for the video.
Thanks Dennis. I couldn't understand how to get the blade engage cable off. Big help! Beyond that, good lighting and everything explained clearly. I liked the make-it-easy-on-yourself-later tips on the clips. Awesome video.
Thanks, Dennis! I'm an IT geek with very little mechanical know-how. I watched your videos, and just now replaced my drive belt with no problem at all! Great video, two thumbs up.
I find your videos extremely helpful and am so very glad I found them. Not sure if I am up to "deck removal" yet but am glad that I the video will be here when I need to.
Dennis, this is an awesome video! My B-I-L and best friend has a Husqvarna and has been afraid to attempt the drive belt change. After seeing this video I'm going to try and convince him that we can change it. And, we won't even need tools. He wants to take it to a pay service to get it done. For a DIY'r and professed UA-cam junkie that would make me ASC! He's far sighted and needs readers for anything close up! I'm just the opposite and take my glasses off to read. Now, I know we can do this!!! Can't thank you enough for making such an outstanding video. We love fixing our own %^$*!
Excellent, thank you for your very helpful videos. Everything about them is perfect; lightening, angles, explanations and tips while showing how to complete the task. I appreciate the time you've put into making and posting them. Plus your demeanor makes them enjoyable to watch.
Thanks man! I’m mechanically declined but getting somebody to make a housecall to replace a belt on a tractor is an exercise in frustration. Going to go crawl around in the driveway and try to do it myself with your help. Appreciate it!
Great video. Im confident i can remove, clean, and replace my mower deck now, thank you gor such an easy to follow and thorough video. God Bless you sir. 🙏🏻👍🇺🇲
GREAT videos on the maintenance of these tractors. I broke a spindle on mine and the belt is worn out so these have clearly shown me how to replace them. Thank you!
Thanks Dennis for the showing of this important info. Haven't gotten mine yet but I have decided it will be the YTH22V46 Lawn Tractor. Glad you're doing this.
Thanks much. I was really dreading the expense of having a mechanic work on my deck and having just had heart valve replacement surgery wasn't a job I felt I could handle until I watched your video. Super informative!
extremely good video and i have found more you have done as well. my daughters craftsman riding mower drive belt broke used your video to replace it even tho i had no ideal lol. thank you so much !!
Hey thanks for the video. I’m pretty much not that mechanically inclined and I was able to drop my deck, do a couple minor repairs and re install the deck. It’s up and running now! I was very pleased.
Thanks ...I wanted the shop to do it but they were backed up for three weeks so I can wait bought the belt watch your excellent video and tomorrow I will get it done..might then mow some grass.
Thanks for posting this. Watched it yesterday, and today I removed and replaced my deck without any problems (it was time for new blades). Not my first mower deck removal, but the first time on my YTH22V46. It was nice to know what I was doing ahead of time, instead of trying to figure it out on my own. I'm sure that cable would've messed me up!
This is a great tutorial. I just discovered a broken ear, same as yours, on my mower deck. Needed to remove the deck and take it to have the ear welded back on. Thanks.
Thank you, Les! I appreciate you watching. When I welded mine, I added some steel to that joint, so it may be worth considering that when you have yours repaired.
Excellent video, Dennis. I had to take my mower deck off today because I had the exact same bracket break off of mine as yours. Hopefully it can be welded back together. Thanks for the great instructions. My owners manual does not explain how to release that clutch cable from the bracket on the mower deck. You demonstrated how to remove the cable easily. Thanks again!
Dennis, I have a Husqvarna YTA22V46 (I don't know what the 'A' vs. the "H" signify. I used your instructions to remove the desk today, and the result was excellent. I thought I must add a few things that others might find helpful. In the video, the left-rear and right-read connectors have cotter pins only, while on my machine they both had a thin silver washer in addition to the cotter pin. In the video, the left-front and right-front connectors have washers (fairly substantial black ones), while on my machine there were none. Having been given the heads-up by the video, I am sure I did not miss any washers. After pulling out the deck, I found the deck cluttered with debris, as you showed. I had been in the practice of blowing our the grass, leaves, etc. on the desk each time I used the machine. BIG mistake. The debris was fully packed in, to the extent that it took a long time to get it all out. The biggest problem was the protectors on top of the spindles. They were packed solid. I had to take these protectors off (it takes a T30 to do this) the deck and physically clean out the spindles. I replaced the blades at the same time. Your suggestion to use a 16mm instead of a 5/8" socket is a good one and worked much better. I could not have done this without your help, Dennis. Many thanks! You have more mechanical skill in your pinky finger than I do in my entire body. Your suggestion (I think in screen text only) to use this opportunity to to lub the steering apparatus while the deck is out was also a good one. Dave
Thanks you so much Dave!! I appreciate you watching and all this helpful info! The difference between the "A" and the "H" tractors is the type on transmissions....the "H" tractors are hydrostatic.
Dennis, once again thanks. I think some of my comments regarding the spindle covers may have influenced your recent video on the same subject. Hope so anyway. Your comments about using the time with the deck off as a good time to clean the desk were also helpful. But, I can I request one more thing? My engine compartment if filthy (the fact that I forgot to replace the dipstick for a few moments one time may have something to do with that). I have cleaned it the best I could with with heavy-duty paper towels, but often that just moves the muck around. I have been told not to spray water on the engine (even when it is cold) so as to avoid getting water into vulnerable electrical connects, to to mention circuit boards, etc. Could you do a video on cleaning the engine? Many thanks, Dave
And one more thing, Dennis. You have been so helpful to me and I know a lots more people. Would you consider setting up a Patreon account so that we who have been enlightened can help you keep going? Dave the mechanical klutz from MA
Thank you Dennis. I took mine off and made a video soni wouldnt forget and it got deleted and i was kinda lost but thanks to your video i got it put back on correctly. Hope youre doing good.
Great video !! Was having a big problem trying to change blade from underneath, even though this might be more work it’s a good time to clean the deck. Thanks again for the video.
Thank you so much for this video, I watched it last year and it helped me get the deck off my Husqvarna riding mower. Super helpful, like you are showing it through the eyes of a newbie, and don’t skip over any simple detail. Actually now I am looking at your blade change video!
Thanks a lot. That's a very nice video. I have a 2020 TS-146XD and although it came with the manuals, there is no manual to detail how to install or remove the deck. Much appreciate you taking the time to put this video together.
Thank You Dennis! My previous lawn tractor was a Coleman. The new Husqvarna deck is similar, but a bit lighter in it’s construction and has only one front guide rod. Like you, I find the Husqvarna deck more prone to hold debris, so I clean it off often.
thank you so much for showing the video of how to take it off and put back on. I've looked at tons of videos and it only shows to take off thank you again
Hey Dennis, I just watched the video again, for a refresher. We had a bracket weld break and I noticed you had the same one break on yours, must be a flaw in the manufacturing process! Thanks for the video bro!👍🏻✌🏻️
I actually had a good weld from the factory....the weld broke on my deck because I literally beat it to death. I hit way too many stumps in the woods at speed and caused the weld to break. I reinforced the joint with some heavier gauge steel and re-welded it. If I break that same weld again, the deck will be toast first. haha
Dennis Coffey, thanks for the reply. That's how our weld broke, hitting things ( like stumps and things ) I think my deck is to low! Will deal with that when reinstalling. Thanks to you I now have more to do today, just saw your video about getting rid of the POS oil drain valve😂😂😂 what a great ( why didn't I think about that ) idea! Keep the ideas and videos coming brother!👍🏻✌🏻️
I have the same machine. Thank you for a great video ! I almost always use my leaf blower on the entire machine after each use and then wash it. After washing I always use the leaf blower again to get all the water off, especially on the deck. I agree with you about the deck. it's a catch all under there, that's why, from day one I make sure to use my leaf blower to clean it up. Works like a champ, especially if I'm running late for the "Honey do" list ..... lol. Just kidding, I have an absolute DOLL for a wife. Thanks again for a great video !
Thanks for watching! Yes, I like to keep mine clean, although I've been slack the last couple of times cutting.....got in a hurry because I had to do something else. I made another video about how to mod the spindle covers to make cleaning the deck a lot easier. It should also help with the drying process (great idea by the way!).....check it out: ua-cam.com/video/3Lc1IfaxPp8/v-deo.html

Thank you for watching and commenting Shannon! I'm glad this helped!!
Thanks for watching, Steve. I agree, I'm pretty rough with my mower, but I have had 2 welds break and had to reweld them.
Dennis, I enjoy all of your videos. They are better than the manual (ha-ha)--more personal ya' know? Do you only do Husqvarna? Also, I have a 46'' Husq. YTA --what's the difference in a YTH? Paul
Purchased my first husqvarna rider, and have to do a complete deck rebuild, your video helps me to know what to expect. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!! Check out some of my other videos....how to replace the deck spindles, etc.
@@dwcoffey definitely will
i followed the steps but I accidentally crossed the belt. Now my mower sucks in from the side and makes the grass taller.
Be careful not to run the throttle up too high or you will be flying across your neighbor's yard!
@@dwcoffey LOL!!!
Thank you for watching! I 'm glad to hear this video helped!!
Grease it while it's out - grease everything ^_^ Nice video brother
Yes!!! Thanks Nicholas!
Thank you so much for this video. I’m 16 and just took the deck off of my dad’s to put a new belt on. It feels nice that I was able to do something like that that, something that I’ve never done before.
Nice job Ethan! That's great you got it done, be proud of yourself. Thanks for watching and keep up the good work!
Great video! Saved me from listening to my husband getting frustrated 😂
LOL! Thank you for watching!
Thank you Mr. Coffey, this is the only video I can find that would help me put the tension cable back in the right place. I'm absent minded sometimes. It's a curse. Thanks for the assistance sir👍
I'm so glad this helped! Thanks for watching!
Nice video
Thank you very much!
Thank you Dennis. My husband left me with a broken deck. My son-in -law took it to get it welded for me and he dropped it off and had to leave. I am not the patient sort so I found your video. It was so easy to follow step by step. I thank you and my yard thanks. My soon to be ex should thank you.
That's great Shelia! I'm glad you got it put together and got the yard cut. You should be proud of yourself! Thanks for watching!
Brilliant! I was a bit oh no, belt slipping shambles, and your video was so helpful. Deck removed and belt changed in no time at all!! Owe you one!
Fantastic! I'm glad this helped. Thanks for watching!
I must say Dennis, Your camera work is fantastic....a true DYI instructive video. great editing !! Hats off to you brother....
Thank you so much, Bobby! I really appreciate the comment and I appreciate you watching!
Thank you for helping a 68 year old lady learn to change a belt on a lawn tractor
Yes ma'am! Thank you so much for watching, Donna! I have other videos on this mower that may help also.....fell free to check them out. Thanks!
Excellent videos on the Husqvarna riding lawnmower. The descriptions on the videos and the explanations are superb. I will be able to remove the deck and replace the driving belt with no problem.
Fantastic! Thanks for watching, Joseph!
That's fantastic you were able to get it fixed and going again! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for this video. I had to take the deck off because the supporting bracket on the left hand side snapped off at the weld, the same as yours! I've taken the deck and the bracket to a local welder for repair. Your video made this an easy task :)
I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching, Cliff!
Dennis this was such a good video. I have an Ariens 46 inch deck. Identical mower as this one. I had to take my deck to a friend for some welding. This video was a great tutorial. Great presentation.
Thank you so much for watching! I'm glad the video helped!
This is a really nice video. The instructions on the manual that comes with my riding mower are confusing, and I was afraid to remove the deck. But after watching your video, I was able to take if off within minutes. With the deck off I could easily clean it, check the belt, and replace the blades. Thanks much.
Fantastic! Thanks for watching!
This is FANTASTIC, need to remove the deck to replace the drive belt - THANK YOU!
Thanks for watching!!
That is awesome!! I'm glad you got it figured out and fixed it on your own!! You should be very proud of yourself. Thanks for watching!
Your video is a great help to me. I need to replace the mower belt as it broke. I'm headed over to watch your other video showing how to do that
Thank you for watching, Mike!
I'm really glad you own this model. Your videos have been a huge help to me.
Good to hear! Thank you for watching, Bruce!
Just got my new Husky YTH22V46 this past summer. First time removing the deck to install my BERCO 700255 snow blower. Have to look for a video on how to install that shortly. Dennis's deck removal video was helpful. Much different and easier than my old Husky.
Thank you so much for watching!
@@dwcoffey Got you saved as had to refer back to it to put it back on last spring and remove it today. Nice to know your video is here for reference if needed.
Used this video to take my deck off in the fall and now back on this spring. No problems at all. Good work sir!
Thank you for watching, Jessica! I'm glad this helped!
Good tip! Thanks for watching!
this is the clearest of the clearest explanation ive ever watched... and the the angle views very much appreciate it sir...
Thank you for watching, Carlo!
Thanks Dennis. I couldn't understand how to get the blade engage cable off. Big help! Beyond that, good lighting and everything explained clearly. I liked the make-it-easy-on-yourself-later tips on the clips. Awesome video.
Thanks very much for watching, Eric! I really appreciate the comment too!
Thanks, Dennis! I'm an IT geek with very little mechanical know-how. I watched your videos, and just now replaced my drive belt with no problem at all! Great video, two thumbs up.
That's fantastic! I'm glad the videos helped and thanks so much for watching!! I appreciate it.
I find your videos extremely helpful and am so very glad I found them. Not sure if I am up to "deck removal" yet but am glad that I the video will be here when I need to.
Thanks for watching, Cynthia! I'm glad these are helpful!
Thanks for watching, Ken! I love the attitude of 'We can do it!'....that's great and I'm sure you and your B-I-L will get 'er done!
Excellent, thank you for your very helpful videos. Everything about them is perfect; lightening, angles, explanations and tips while showing how to complete the task. I appreciate the time you've put into making and posting them. Plus your demeanor makes them enjoyable to watch.
Thank you so much, Nancy! I appreciate the kind comment and thank you for watching!
Thanks man! I’m mechanically declined but getting somebody to make a housecall to replace a belt on a tractor is an exercise in frustration. Going to go crawl around in the driveway and try to do it myself with your help. Appreciate it!
Thanks for watching, Lance! 'technically declined'......that cracked me up!! I'm sure you will do a great job. Let me know if I can help!
Your videos on the husqavarna have really helped I’ve never touched a mower in my life so changing this belt I thought was gonna be hell
Thanks for watching, Caitlyn! I'm glad the videos are helping you!!
Great video. Im confident i can remove, clean, and replace my mower deck now, thank you gor such an easy to follow and thorough video. God Bless you sir. 🙏🏻👍🇺🇲
Thank you very much sir!
GREAT videos on the maintenance of these tractors. I broke a spindle on mine and the belt is worn out so these have clearly shown me how to replace them. Thank you!
Thank you and I appreciate you watching!
Thanks Dennis for the showing of this important info. Haven't gotten mine yet but I have decided it will be the YTH22V46 Lawn Tractor. Glad you're doing this.
Thank you Joe! I appreciate you watching and commenting!
Thanks much. I was really dreading the expense of having a mechanic work on my deck and having just had heart valve replacement surgery wasn't a job I felt I could handle until I watched your video. Super informative!
Thanks for watching, Darryll! I'm glad this helped. Praying you have a a speedy and full recovery!
Great Video,I like how you talk slow and fully explain what you are doing. It makes it so much better to understand. Thanks
Thanks for watching, Ken! I appreciate it.
extremely good video and i have found more you have done as well. my daughters craftsman riding mower drive belt broke used your video to replace it even tho i had no ideal lol. thank you so much !!
That's fantastic, Arnold! I'm glad the vids are helpful and I really appreciate you watching!
I am embarrassed to tell you how frustrated I was with those clips. Your video is a lifesaver! Bless you. Subscribed.
Thanks for watching, Rich! I'm glad this helped!
Hey thanks for the video. I’m pretty much not that mechanically inclined and I was able to drop my deck, do a couple minor repairs and re install the deck. It’s up and running now! I was very pleased.
Fantastic! Nice work, Jonathan! Thank you for watching.
Absolutely the easiest Dyi video to follow this one and your how to change drive belt they were life savers thank you
Thank you so much, Ron! I appreciate you watching!
Clean the top of the mower deck with your air blower, load those fittings with grease and scrap the underneath also... Good video Sir
Yes sir! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! I broke the part the right blade attaches to; now I'll take the deck off and see about getting a replacement part. Happy mowing!
Thank you for watching, Marika! I have another video showing how to replace the spindles.....check it out, I think you'll find it useful.
Thanks ...I wanted the shop to do it but they were backed up for three weeks so I can wait bought the belt watch your excellent video and tomorrow I will get it done..might then mow some grass.
Thank you for watching, Alex!
Thanks for the info. I have never seen retainer keys like these, but your information clearly shows how they come off.
Thanks for watching, JD! I like these captive pins, but they are a little unique.
Thnaks for watching! I'm glad this helped....yes, that cable is a sticky spot!
Thank you for watching, Robert and I'm glad this helped!
Thank you for watching! Yes, doing fine, I hope the same for you. I appreciate your support!
Great video !!
Was having a big problem trying to change blade from underneath, even though this might be more work it’s a good time to clean the deck.
Thanks again for the video.
Great point! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for this video, I watched it last year and it helped me get the deck off my Husqvarna riding mower. Super helpful, like you are showing it through the eyes of a newbie, and don’t skip over any simple detail. Actually now I am looking at your blade change video!
I am very glad these are helpful to you! Thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot. That's a very nice video. I have a 2020 TS-146XD and although it came with the manuals, there is no manual to detail how to install or remove the deck. Much appreciate you taking the time to put this video together.
Thanks for watching, Alain! I'm glad this helped!
Great GREAT video! I now understand more mechanically about my 1st riding mower.
I'm glad this helps! Thanks for watching, Reginald!
Thank You Dennis! My previous lawn tractor was a Coleman. The new Husqvarna deck is similar, but a bit lighter in it’s construction and has only one front guide rod. Like you, I find the Husqvarna deck more prone to hold debris, so I clean it off often.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the instruction on removing and replacing the deck. Yours is attached very similar to my Craftsman 21 HP Briggs by Husqvarna..
I'm glad this helped! Thanks for watching, Ellie!
Ive just bought a 48inch and this gives me great confidence to know that, it is pretty much as simple as you made it look.Nice work.👌..great vid
Thank you very much for watching, Frank!
thank you so much for showing the video of how to take it off and put back on. I've looked at tons of videos and it only shows to take off thank you again
Thanks for watching, Sherri!
I am so thankful that you take the time to show the process. I was scared to attempt dropping the deck! Now I have a great lesson and teacher!!!
Thank you so much, Dana! I appreciate you watching!
Excellent walk thru on how to remove the deck. Thanks for posting!
Thank you for watching, Charlie!
Another excellent video! Dennis is my go-to for all things lawn tractor.
Thank you for watching, Ken!!
Thanks for the video. Excellent content and well presented. The cable had me stymied today. You solved my problem.
I'm glad to know this helped! Thanks for watching!
Great instructions..... I was going to have my engineer son come to my house to remove the deck but using your video I did it in about 10 minutes
That's great! Thanks for watching, Ken!
Thank you Dennis! Your videos are easy to understand and being calm like you are calms the stress in my mind about trying to fix stuff.
Thanks Izzy! I appreciate you watching and I'm glad to know these videos are helping!
Watched several videos, and this one is, by far, the best I've seen! Great job!
Thanks Dwight, I appreciate you watching and thanks for the really kind comment!
