The short stripers were caught using a rig of two bucktails. Each of those bucktails were one quarter ounce. You can see that rig in the video. The 34 inch striper that I caught at night was on a one ounce swim shad in black and purple color.
@@RHenryUSA1 The bucktails I bought online a couple of years ago. I don't know a brand name, but they are all just about the same. I don't like expensive ones because I just lose them alot. The swim shad was made by storm lures. They don't make the black and purple anymore. I happen to have some left from years ago. I saw one store that had a few packs when I couldn't get them anywhere else, so I bought all of them. I think it was 5 packs.
