Not a fan of Ananya Pandey's acting at all. But I somehow understand what she is trying to convey. When I was in college, I was very average student but I was one of the few students in class who was from an English medium school, so I was confident in public speaking and other activities. Often times I was talked down by some classmates who used to say I didn't have any special talent or smartness but I was just lucky as I had studied in an English medium school. While it was hard for me to explain that I did come from an English medium school but I have never been a class topper because I was average at academics, I was mostly struggling to concentrate on studies during initial college days because I was living outside my hometown away from my family for the first time. It may not be a big deal for someone else but I found it hard initially. Privilege always attracts hate. Every person goes through some difficulties or the other in their lives but when there is a comparison of struggles between two individuals of completely different backgrounds, the privileged one always looks bad.
Yup, i can feel you, i have neve been away from my parents. But i know for a fact someday i have to leave them, seriously i don't what i would do without them, Even I know how to cook but the thing that haunts me is loneliness.

I totally agree. However, it's important to remember that it's not fair to target these individuals solely because they have privilege (I'm not talking about you, but others). Privilege is something you're born with, and it's not something anyone can change. It's just how life is. What those lucky kids can do is simply acknowledge that they've had it easier in life and be humble.
For all those who are justifying her life, she broke ranveer when he was going to give her the best piece of motivation. So, she is not as patient and still very young. Blah

People here commenting on her patience and level headedness, it basic mannerism and etiquette to be followed in general by everyone. Unless we expect b-wood next gen to not have one. Also, unlike us, they attend training and explained well by PR team how to present themselves and a narrative is created. No doubt, she might be a nice person. But she is like most of us.

Every human has a story, including her. I personally love that he gets celebrities on his podcast every now and then. His podcast is framed in a manner where people actually open up, so it’s kind of refreshing to see the struggles of people with fame and wealth. It just shows us that happiness is beyond wealth and is a state of mind.

I don't like ananya panday but i also stopped hating on her. I think it's not her fault to be born into a family that's already extremely rich. I don't think her life has no struggles at all. I don't like her acting and I don't know if she deserves those roles but nepotism does exist and she does have an upper hand but she also is accepting it. Unless she's dissing on newcomers and outsiders, she needn't be apologetic about it. It's a personal choice if she wants to take advantage of her father's influence and she's honestly entitled to it. I can't figure out the reason behind all the hate for "rich kids.". Is there something wrong with recognizing and utilizing our own privilege? There's no need to dislike people who are privileged because it's not their fault they were born into it. Hating them for something they can't control isn't really fair. That's how life works, some get lucky and get everything offered to them on a plate, whereas some have to grind really hard to get there. If a "privileged" kid is humble enough to acknowledge the fact that he/she had it easier in life and is empathic towards the unlucky ones, then I don't see a reason why he/she should get the hate.

Ananya Pandey all i care could be a wonderful person at heart but the matter is not about how she is what her personal struggle is ( cause lets face it we all have our journey and struggles that comes with it)....its about lot of talented youngsters in India who actually went to drama school and is good at their craft will never get a chance cause of her; india is a powerhouse of talent not just in the field of engineering or medicine, finance etc....but in field of arts ( perfirming art, classical, etc) any form.....we engineers give entrance exam to get into a good college/university and gruelling rounds of interviews to get a decent position in corporate world....let her and other kids of these so called bollywood folks ( prefer not to call them actors cause lets face it most of them arnt very good at it) give audition and let the derserving get the part .....point is she didn't deserve any of the parts she was handed to on a silver platter, let her compete with the talented crowd and EARN it fair and square like the rest of us :)
