I have some stunning see through golden yellow quartz clusters I dug up myself. Must have been exposed to heat underground

I like your simple explanation, cause I have been confused in regards to yellow/lemon quartz vs citrine. Heat treated to create color.

The difference is GMO (Heated treated by man) vs homegrown (NATURALLY heat treated by the earth).

Everything you've shown as citrine in your shop is most definitely MAN MADE (artificially heated) citrine. Your shop doesnt have any high quality citrine (heated or not). So, since you have SO MUCH of the cheap stuff, it makes more sense why you try to say natural citrine doesnt exist, or else no one would buy your cheap looking citrine.

This is a heated topic (haha) I find your video to be very interesting and it helped me do further research on the topic. My conclusion is that there is a little truth in everything. My bottom line falls between these to comments. Your buddy said that after researching this topic he couldn't find a reputable scholarly source that listed citrine as a gemstone. I found that some do and some don't. Secondly I believe you stated that citrine does not appear naturally. I found that it does but it is very rare. Ultimately something or somebody applied heat to a quartz crystal. So in the end I don't think it's worth even caring about. Good video, thanks.

This man runs a successful business and I’m amazed by people claiming he is spreading misinformation so that he can sell his so called “fake” citrine lol Don’t think he needs citrine to sell to survive lol I see this topic easily triggers people. Instead of bashing a business why not do your own research and be ok with having others disagree with your own opinion without becoming a keyboard warrior 🤷‍♀️

Sir, i don't even care if it's 'fake' heated Amethyst or it's 'natural'. Only thing that i care is; does Citrine have different metaphysical properties/energy than Amethyst?

So, citrine and amethyst are both quartz, but the amethyst is the only one between the two of them that comes out of the ground that color, the citrine color (orange to yellow) is only achieved by heating amethyst. But they are BOTH QUARTZ ............ (Is That All Correct?)

As layman “user” with love of crystals to sync with human lives and emotions, I can somewhat understand many crystal healers and seller of stones saying man made HTA as “citrines”. Natural citrine is getting rarer and most exports out of countries like Brazil are HTAs. So large stocks of HTA citrines are carried by many shops as “citrines”. I am ok but am not happy when the sellers do not have full disclosure or honesty about whether it is natural or HTAs to the unsuspecting novice buyer. From the testimonies of my circle who has no vested interest in crystal trade, IMHO, it is just not correct to say HTA is no different from natural citrine. The process to get there is so different. Natural citrines are created by millions or hundreds of thousand of years under slow high pressure and heat in earth’s crust. HTAs are created out of amethyst from super strong fire or oven heat at commercial processing speed. The amethyst existed as an amethyst in time and history for a reason. The application of environment on the crystal is different. For sure, HTAs are crystal and continue to have energy and frequency. One cannot simply claim HTAs are identical to natural citrines. Besides cosmetic visual of naturals and HTA as being different, many crystal healers and personal lives will tell you they feel a difference in energy level and impact.
If a HTA still helps someone or one loves the physical form and color and wants one, of course it is more than fine. But they are not the same.

I’d say just use the hta citrine as an amethyst, the third eye, instead of the solar plexus. Quite different results!

Agreed. Probably bc he cant get natural citrine. Ive watched his Instagram lives and everything he shows as citrine is most definitely as man made citrine. His shop doesnt have any high quality citrine (heated or not) 😂

the problem i have with heat treated emathyst is ..its ugly as f...it gives off the bad vibe of a burnt pizza. Also if i sold you a plastic handbag and said it was natural leather im pretty sure you would be ticked off.
