- The old Ben in comparison with a new clean shaven, smartly dressed Ben today! So far so good! No Jail relapse and looking smart with his new Job at Channel 7 news. Working alongside Barra, (Adrain Barich).
I really hope he can keep this up. Addiction is a never ending battle

@@Helio3204 Ben had just got sacked by the Eagles for drug related things, I myself was a drug addict in Perth. I was driving to go purchase and along side the road was Ben running along the highway keeping fit. I went and purchased and came back and low and behold he’s still running, he’d run the same pace for hours. Scorched by the sun, sweaty and laser focused. I drove past an oval and stopped in there to have a look and rethink the joy I used to have playing footy. One of the club members came up and asked if I wanted to have a run, I told him I’m not too fit and I didn’t have my boots, he said that was fine and asked me my size. While he went to go get some spare boots I threw out my purchase, I went and trained and that first session was hard on me because I wasn’t fit but I remember that image of Ben and kept at it. I played B grade and then halfway through the season went up to A grade. I was fit, clean and healthy and everything else in my life came good too. The spark for that change all came from Ben actually. He really inspired me

Yessss!!! He’s back. He’s a 2 time champion in my eyes. Footy and now going through what he needed to go through to get back here. It’s really hard being an addict. Your gift is your curse and it’s something that needs to be managed for your whole life. But it does have its advantages when you’re focused and productive and he’s clearly on that path. Luv ya mate!

I hope he has a good Psycharist and is well medicated for the emotional issues he was trying to numb by self medicating...
My dad was a very, very high functioning, warm, caring, and loving, happy alcholic for most of his life..
But the grog got him in his later years when the dementia kicked in.. So we had him detoxed, and after that, he was an anxious mess.. We demanded the doctor put him on an antidepressant and litterally, within three days, he was queuing to go on the day bus trips where we had him being cared for..
Classic.

The only people to let him down was channel 7 and basil took advantage of a crack head at a low point other then that Ben cousins has no one to blame but himself. Seems to be doing better now hope it stays that way

@M in Australia we welcome all sports mate you should try AFL it's alot tougher game then soccer and AFL will probably be a international game by 2050 so I'm excited for such progress in coming years

I dont care if someone does drugs, as long as they are a good person deep down. I have met many junkies who I have let stay at my estate and I have never even touched a drug. Alot of people are high functioning drug addicts who are in very powerful roles in society.
