The Blues are buying players from England, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, America, Nigeria, Ukraine, Antarctica, everywhere. Even though they’ve been threatened by the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules, they still cannot stop themselves from signing new players. It’s like it’s an uncontrollable obsession at this point.
Now, while it seems like these signings make no sense half the time, there are actually some very logical reasons behind them, and we’ll tell you in this video.

As a long time Chelsea fan, I'm disappointed the way the club is running. It's purely for profit and not for the passion of the game or even competing to win anything. Nobody can win the Premier League or the Champions League with a team of kids.

Chelsea will have to win trophies if they want to adapt this business strategy. It only works if you have enough pull to actually convince those young high potential players to join your club. You can only have that pull by qualifying for Europe and or winning trophies.

I mean, they're definitely hoarding players. I'm always shocked when young talents agree to join them. They don't have a high success rate of developing these players (at least not in the last 5 years) and usually loan them out for several years consecutively. All of this is failing to mention their on pitch performances, which have been pretty mediocre with all these moving pieces from the player/manager standpoint.

Chelsea is the first club which ruined football, but atleast during the abramovich era they had a great vision for success and to win the titles, but this management is a total failure. They wanted to sell players for profit, but even the money they spended for these young players are huge and it's a total waste of money. The Chelsea is unrecognizable now and football is dead because money completely destroyed football.
Its not a waste of money lol. Its a win win for both the club and the players. The club has no intention to put most of them in the first team, they will loan them out for a season or two and sell them for profit. Simple selling rule, buy low sell high, its no different in football

Bc with longer contracts, they can divide the price to each year of the contract. Like for example of they buy a 92 million player with 8 years contract. They just have to pay 9 mill per year

You just need to look at the under 17 and 19 national team squads from six to eight years ago to see that for every Bellingham, there's a lot playing in League 1 and 2, farmers leagues or not even professionally. The odds are stacked against this working. They should be doing what Abramovich did and that was acquire proven quality.

There is no way they're gonna bag huge profits from Enzo & Caicedo, if they decide to sell them. Also, I think chelsea wil only sell the 2nd best player in each position. Who in the right mind would sell Cole Palmer to rivals and reducing chances to get champions league football. No champions league football = less profit.
I believe they will keep the best one and sell the 2nd best, and if the 2nd best somehow manage to outperform the current best, they will sell the other one and buy another youngster. This way the club will be more sustainable in the long run.

The club is not being ruined. They’re actually being very smart. They are buying players to make profit off them and make the club actually sustainable cos Abramovich is no longer there to inject money into the club anytime he wants a big player. No CL football plus small stadium extra funds have to be raised elsewhere to remain competitive. And that’s through player development and sales. But Chelsea fans are just spoilt and think funds should just magically appear for Mbappe and whatnot every season like Roman is still there

If those players (that are being bought with 100M) will play for the club for 7-10 years and win some trophies it probably was a deal, but if they will get rid of them in 2-3 years with half the price of they used it obviously was bad deal.
