- Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays. Im back for yet again another ship spotting video with the drone! Hope you enjoy!

Just got off the Eclipse today...as my wife and I stood rail side on the "sail away" six days ago I said to her: I have heard that drone fliers have been doing cruise departures...and as I said it I happened to look up and saw a drone alongside us....nobody else notice that I could tell...as soon as we got home I logged in to You Tube and was so pleased to see not only a fantastic collage of ships leaving port but my wife and I were there in the video that we have now shared with our kids and family...what a gift! Thanks Justin!

Great cool video. I'm hooked.. Norwegion Sky was our first cruise in 2017. We love going on cruises. Wish we would've started at a younger age than in our forties.

Ah that has brought back memories from my fantastic cruise on the incredible Norwegian Getaway last November
The last time I cruised out of Miami, the ships were all under 35,000 tons and carried less than 700 passengers! Now, with the exception of Aida, the ships are all over 135,000 tons and carry at least 3,000 passengers. Just amazing.
It also bought back memories when I went on the carnival victory.

We're cruising on the Carnival Victory in two weeks, and this video has been SO helpful in figuring out which terminal our ship docks at. However, our ship is scheduled to depart at 4:00pm, yet this video shows the Victory still docked at dusk...well past 4:00pm. I hope we'll be able to leave port before dark!
I am sure you will. The Victory had just repositioned back to Miami that day, so it was getting check and supplied, thats why it left later in the day.

It's a nice video, but I'm sure you know by now that flying directly over a cruise ship is illegal?
Love your videos.....I'm curious though, for your drone videos, do you have to get permission from the port or cruise lines to shoot these?
Thank you! Glad you liked my video! Technically no, you don't need permission, but the area around the port is restricted, so I'm taking a chance by flying it there. I registered the drone with the FAA, so hopefully ill be okay!
