Do you have the bottle diameter by the triple tree clamp? Is that a 40 or 50mm? Also the over all length from end to end? Thanks for the video very helpful
Daniel Patino Do you mean the 2 stroke oil bottle? It's not round I recall but the exact size I don't remember, the bike went years ago but spares sites might provide that info, the user manual should give dimensions also.
+lohengrin ballesteros Thankyou for watching the video and I hope it was useful. I don't have a specific recommendation of fork oil brand and it is less important than your engine and gearbox oil would be as it's subject to lower stresses being used for damping rather than lubrication. The important thing is that the weight is correct as specified by the user manual or service guide, You can change the weight of the oil if you require a change of damping speed but specialist owner groups can help there. if you stick with known name brands you can't really choose a bad one, you sometimes get oddities like the RE Bullet which recommends you use ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid), in both it's clutch housing and forks.
+spidiq8 Tnks again maestro !! And yes all the information was super useful and easy to understand. My best wishes and good vibes From Juriquilla Mexico !
+lohengrin ballesteros You're very welcome and I'm flattered, I wouldn't class myself as an expert but I'm glad that the knowledge I have and share helps some

Hi! do you know if this is also how the forks are taken apart on the 1993 Lawson replica?
Thanks in advance.
TheDaHaxx According to the manual the same forks are used across the range, so yes it should be exactly the same procedure
Amazing, thank you. It's a very helpfull video :)
Thankyou, pleased that it's useful to you
is it a 7 speed?
see your air filter ;)
Yes it is
Isnt 420cc equal to 420ml? Sounds like you say 420cc is equal to 220ml.
Quite possibly, I may have made an error when explaining but it's so long since filming this without watching it over I couldn't say.
