I'm not going to pretend that I understand the full history of the beautiful nation and people of Taiwan, however I do know one thing. The right to self determination is absolutely paramount. Power should be kept as close to free individuals as possible When a hostile entity attempts to control those who did not wish to be controlled, an illegitimate state of affairs is created. China has no right to hold the incredible Taiwanese people hostage. Taiwan will always be free in my eyes. Let me stand up like a Taiwanese. Only justice will bring you peace. Much love from the UK to an incredible band, nation and people.

Please mix it better, there's too much to go through. It's a beautiful song, I know the original and the adding of Matt sounds great but the mixing is not favourable to the project. Please can you mix it again?
I actually really like the song. killer riffs and guitar work, technical af but catchy, but man, what is up with the mix? the guitars and drums are buried in the mix below the orchestration and you struggle to hear the band at times, plus its really thin, there isnt really any low end.

Andrés Segnini Umm... I get what you mean but technically the band doesn’t recognize this flag as the symbol of Taiwan. It was a flag that represents the “Republic of China” long before the present China emerges, known as the “PROC”. When the civil war broke out between the nationalists and the communists, KMT abandoned mainland and fled to Taiwan, they brought this flag to Taiwan, along with war and suffering to Taiwanese people, causes massacre and disorder for nearly 40 years. Many died fighting for freedom under this regime’s ruling, which is why this song is about liberating from China, to be a true Taiwanese!

It is confusing indeed for foreigners sometimes and can get mistaken easily, but as long as many people like you who’d listen and willing to know more, then there’s hope! We’re not alone!

I'll admit, I wish Matt had a bigger role in the song than just backing vocals on the chorus and a guitar solo but this was still pretty awesome regardless
The original song is great and Matt is also a nice addition to the song - however: I think in the mastering of the song the punch has been accidentally taken out, especially if you compare it to the original song.
I loved the old version, but this is still cool! To me it was perfect just as it was. I think this is just a way to gain more international attention, which would be well deserved. A little much going on in this version of the song perhaps, but fair enough. I´m really just happy Matt is making things with Chthonic! :-D
