FACTS!
This movie does so many things right. The characters, their development, the fight choreography, the lessons, how well it depicts ancient China, it's all so great. One part I really like, and often see overlooked, is how after Po lays out his insecurities to Shifu, we see that Tigress heard the whole thing and finally started to soften up and feel sorry for him, and realized he was actually taking Kung Fu seriously, not "treating it like a joke" as she previously stated.
Since then, Tigress and Po became close friends

I genuinely love that Shifu’s path to inner peace was ultimately through reconnecting with his love of training. He had FUN training Po, because he let himself have fun, because he focused on the training itself, not the goal and not his past. Shifu grinning and delighted throughout Po’s ‘final exam’ shows he was healing throughout that training montage, bit by bit, recovering the affectionate and hopeful (though strict) self he lost to Tai Lung for twenty years. It’s just lovely, the more so because the movie doesn’t dwell on it.
Actually, his dad acting like nothing happened is probably the best thing he could've done right there.
Typically when someone gets a crazy idea in their head and their parents disapprove, and it doesn't work out like they hoped, the parent tends to rub it in.
Him not saying anything to me was him saying, "I may have been right, but I'm not gonna make you feel bad about it."
Such a great movie. One of my favorite parts was always how Shifu forced himself to believe in Po. He did not necessarily believe in him yet but he forced himself to because of his own sensei which lead to one of the best lines and responses in the movie: Po: Just what are you asking of me?
Shifu: I am asking you to have faith in your master, as I have faith in mine!
tai lung is literally one of the best animated villains out there for me
Po and Tai lung's rivalry always made me think of the line Vergil said. "That day, if our positions were switched... Would our fates be different? Would I have your life, and you mine?"
1. It’s never too late to learn kung fu especially if there’s something you love most that motivates you.
2. That black and white panda is called a giant panda. Two species of panda. Shifu is a red panda whereas Po is a giant panda.
I look it up and, holy crap, you're right. I always thought he was a bush baby, or something, since his color-scheme doesn't quite match with a red panda (there was too much white on him, and red should be the primary color, imo). I learned something today.

KFP has always touched my heart as a kid, but growing up in an Asian family, I saw how much relatability and emotion that was in the writing and performances! It doesn't ever fail at touching my heart! Btw my noodle recommendation would be pho or udon with some pork Bao on the side!

A fun and inspiring film from DreamWorks Animation, combining computer animation and hand-drawn animation, especially during the credits.
By the way, before you see the second main film, I suggest you first check out the short film Secrets of the Furious Five.
Most of my life I didn't now that there is a scene with the little peach tree. I saw it when I was watching other reaction.😂
I highly recommend you to watch spirit: stallion of the cimarron, it’s a great movie. (If you haven’t seen it yet)
Po was so good at the beginning they had to make up a hole new level
One of my favorite little things is Po's and Tai Lung's responses to seeing the scroll. The scroll is just a mirror, showing their face. Po says "It's blank." Tai Lung says "It's nothing".
Po sees a blank slate, ready to be filled. Tai Lung sees failure and disappointment.

I really enjoyed this movie, Viper is my favorite because she’s cute and she’s the only one who was nice to Po when he was chosen as the Dragon Warrior

Kung Fu Panda rocks! This is one of Jack Black's best movies ever. Learning about kung fu is awesome, has funny moments and teach important lessons

Oogway definitely has all the bars
The saddest thing for me about Tai Lung is that you see in his face that he softens when Shifu gives him a real apology for what happened between them. And for just a moment you see that's what he really wanted. Not power. Not the dragon scroll. Just accountability from his father-figure and an expression of love. But then the moment passes and Tai Lung chooses what most villains usually do: vengeance instead of renewal.
Yay for more Kung Fu Panda!
This and How to Train your dragon are two of the greatest film series ever.

You know I didn’t realize, the scene where po is able to be motivated by food and do splits and all in the kitchen, is a throwback to when oogway found him by the peach tree eating the peaches. We never saw how he managed to get all those peaches down did we? I think that was deliberate
So many lessons to be learned in this movie.

Red pandas and pandas actually aren’t related. They have a similar name because they look similar. Pandas are a kind of bear and red pandas are in their own category.
"Quit, don't quit. Noodles, don't noodles."
Tai Lung has become one of, if not my favorite, villains because he's not necessarily an evil character. He just had unreal expectations placed upon him (being told he'd be worthy to be the Dragon Warrior), and when Oogway said he didn't meet those expectations (turning him down), he cracked and took his anger, frustration and fury out on the village, thus painting himself as the villain of the story. And the movie also doesn't shy away from the fact that Shifu also messed up, that just because he's a "good guy" doesn't mean he did no wrong. And Shifu's apology is kinda the peek, showing why they're against each other, as Shifu in that moment, accepts his mistake and takes responsibility for it, while Tai Lung has become so focused on meeting the expectations that were placed on him
The way Shifu’s face where he looks at the camera while snatching the dumpling simultaneously gets me every time!

Just because it has name "red panda" which in your language matches with "panda" another species it doesn't make it anyway related. Also it is FireFox.
Bats in my language are literally named "flying mice", which doesn't make any way related to mice.
Also, freacking hedgehog has nothing to do with hogs. Platypus (Perry, or not), has nothing to do with ducks as name might suggest

The meaning behind the "Dragon Scroll" being blank is that (from my interpretation) as long as you believe in yourself you're unstoppable and no one can defeat you

I like that a large focus if the film is self discipline. It is an underrated quality in a hero’s journey. It makes Po a better role model.

To be fair to Shifu and the story, Red Panda's are not themselves bears and thus not related to Giant Panda's.
I was today years old when I found out that Master Shifu is a red panda 😅
