- I am opening 45 high-end mystery boxes from Hit Parade/Dave and Adam's, worth over $10,000, in search of the biggest chase cards for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/product review! Repacks are becoming more popular amongst collectors as a middle ground between opening wax and buying singles, but in my many openings from Dacardworld, I've struggled to pull the ceiling cards. For this year's tipoff to start the NBA season, I decided to go crazy with 4 cases and 5 loose boxes from various sets! These 10-box cases sell in the $1,500-$3,000 range ($150-300 per box) and are limited to a print run of only 100 total boxes. The VIP boxes cost around $600-$800 per box. Every box contains just 1 graded slab or raw card in a one-touch magnetic holder. The sets I went with are 2023-24 Hit Parade GOAT Young Ballers Edition Series 3, 2024-25 HP The Rookies S2, 23-24 VIP Series 3 MVP Edition, 23-24 VIP Series 2 Active Player Edition, 23-24 Autographed Platinum S8, 23-24 Sapphire Treasures Hunt S2, 24-25 Autographed Limited S13, and 24-25 Autographed Limited S12 & S8. The big chase cards include a BGS 9.5 2006-07 Upper Deck Ovation Michael Jordan Autograph, a 2013-14 Panini Intrigue Kobe Bryant NBA Finals auto, a LeBron James Panini One and One Downtown, an Immaculate Collection Steph Curry Gold 2015-16 MVP auto, a Platinum 1/1 Paolo Banchero Silver Screen Debut Noir auto, a Victor Wembanyama Pink Ice Prizm rc, a PSA 8 2022-23 National Treasures Chet Holmgren True RPA, Shaq & Nikola Jokic Timeless Moments autos, a PSA 10 2007-08 SPx Kevin Durant Super Scripts rookie auto, a Giannis Antetokounmpo Spectra RPA, a Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Instant NBA Draft rc auto, a Jayson Tatum NT auto, a Joel Embiid Gold RPA, a Magic Johnson Exquisite patch auto, an Anthony Edwards Contenders Veteran Finals Ticket Auto, and a PSA 9 Luka Doncic Silver Prizm rookie card. These boxes come with chances at pulling big NBA rookie cards, 1/1 signatures, various SP/SSPs, rare auto sets, case-hits, RPAs, vintage cards, prime/super prime memorabilia jersey relic autos (Nike Swoosh, nameplate, laundry/championship tag, brand/team logo, number patch), and high-end ink of the NBA's top rookies/stars/legends/HOFers from tons of various sets/years (Panini Prizm, Topps Chrome, Upper Deck, Fleer, Skybox, Flawless, Playoff Contenders, Transcendent, Donruss Optic, Select)! I miss the days when card companies would release new product as the new season begins. It was a way for me to learn about the new rookies. Now we still get new products way after the season is over.

Genuinely such a scam one thing that concerns me is the numbering. What is stopping them from noting which numbers are case hits and only sending them to big spenders

You must get these for free or a massive discount for exposure. No value for the retail prince and ultimately just a version of scratch off tickets except there is no way Hit Parade will be parting with a 100k+ card.
He makes money off ads, has members, does breaks and sells most of the things on whatnot. He doesn't need to make the money back, it just needs to be close to make it worth it
No to both unfortunately. Not a fan of hit parade but I love mystery boxes and always try to review them when possible. Always wanna find variety and themes for videos and they’re the only ones who do that from the ones I’ve found. Trying to find others that would work but no luck yet

I did one of these once, pulled an average player in a mag, sent it in for grading, came back an 8, actually lost money on this. Will never buy again. I'm not moaning about the player, that really can't be helped, but the card grade needs to be a 9 or better considering these come from Dave & Adams.
