My Entry to Benny's Spooky Edit War 2021! | Halloween Photoshop Art

- This video is all about #BennysSpookyEditWar2021 and no #Halloween can be complete without the epic #Photoshop challenge hosted by the exceptional @BennyProductions
This year I decided to think out of the box and do something creative with the limited stock images. And, I would definitely like to mention my biggest inspiration - the one and only @PhaseRunner His winning entry from the last year made me realise the endless possibilities lie far beyond the stock images. It only depends on one's imagination and how he or she uses the tools at his or her disposal to create something epic. So fully inspired I tried creating something big and daring. I hope you will like it.
This Photoshop composition took more than thirty hours to complete. So, although I am not able to explain all the steps in fine detail, I will give helpful tips along the way on the various topics like - placement and perspective, aerial depth, texturing, clipping and masking, highlights, rain effects and so on. So, be sure to watch the entire video and let me know in the comments if you found them helpful.

~The art: It's ok.
~The way you did the Photoshop art: You did pretty well I like it.
~Now when you said something about the mind (besides you're doing a contest; that's okay I'm not going by the contest you're doing🙂, I'm going by the way you did the art). I want to give myself an answer to you: When you're doing stock images or like using reference, and then you just using it for referencing or like putting it together on a drawing while you're making art on top of it, it gives you limitations of creativity; but if you don't use the stock images nor references the mind is unlimited of imagination.
I like the contest of what you're doing, I wish I can do those too but I'm usually late on those; but you did pretty well on it.. that's all I can say. It's not talented because you're using stock images and you're using things that already exist but doing it is pretty good; and you drew a creature that came from a movie, it's not by your imagination; but you're putting it like your own little touch because I like the colors in the end of the creature. So you're using something that already exists but again, it's ok 'cause you're doing a contest. I hope you win too but I would've love to see better. I just went upon your vid...wish I can see more.

So I had to use them this way or the other. But I did want to add my personal touch by doing some paintovers. But I would differ a bit from your opinion on inspiration, as I think we all get inspired by one thing or the other - like movies, animation, other artists' artworks and so on. So I do try to give proper credits as that might help viewers to understand how the idea came to my mind :)
But I really appreciate that you like the end result somehow... and I hope in the future I will bring more things that are more awesome. Hope you will like them :)
