    These are great for beginners!
The realistic conversations and different voice actors add to a beginner's 'absorption' of the new language.
However, I feel that the reversing sound interludes are a very distracting addition. I found that they are a jarring sound effect since the natural no-sound pause between the segments are much more effective to learning. For someone to learn a language, they have to 'replay' the sound of the word/phrases in their mind and the no-sound allows the mind to learn the sounds easier. Instead, the mind naturally anticipates the added interludes and shortens the learning process. The unusual sound also is counter-intuitive to the natural flow of the English language.

I don't like this kind of content, because it makes feel like you understand everything in English, when it's no precisely like that. This is not a normal conversation. No one talks so clearly or so slow in real life.
