bro's the academic Hamza
I came here for a 4.0 gpa guide but I got a full high school survivial guide instead 💀
I like your mindset you’re very strategic and diligent about your processes and habits, and you succeed and see results. It’s very admirable. I’m glad to be here.
I do notice that you rarely use qualifiers. It’s always absolutes in your sentences like “always”, “never”, “worst”, “best”. This could be kind of a red flag. But it may be cause of the confidence you exude.
if ANY of you are reading this comment BEFORE freshman year, I have words of wisdom for you. Getting all As for all of freshman year is so much better than 1-2 Bs until last half of sophomore year when you start to lock in, and get all As. By how the grading system works, you are heavily rewarded by getting perfect grades in the beginning of your highschool journey because of how much it's worth towards your GPA. I've seen quite a few people get a perfect freshman start, and then slack-off during sophomore year (like half of report card filled with Bs)...
Summed up:
although they may have had this large performance dip, they STILL have a higher GPA than if you got 1 class to 2 classes with Bs up until Junior year. Just please, please start off your freshman year perfect to near perfect, because it takes an agonizing time to up your GPA to where you COULD'VE had it at if you just locked in freshman year.
this isn't even a 4.0 guide this is just a "how to live your life during highschool effectively" guide
Complete High School Guide.
Bro tysm for this! I missed 8th and 9th grade and my brain is sooo cooked, this is gonna come in so handy when I go back after two years!

Making assignments long is something I’ve noticed but I don’t like, so forcing myself to make lesser work is hard; why I don’t know.
Me in an a elite boarding school listening to the quantity > quality 😳
same bro i needed this
Can you elaborate slightly on your study method when cramming a day before? Besides active recall, any other tips to retain maximum information in a short period of time?
I recommended blurting, basically just pretend like you are teaching the topic you need to study to a class. If there are any specific concepts that you have a hard time explaining while blurting you probably don’t understand them well enough and you need to learn more about them. This works really well for people who pretend like there are being interviewed or are making UA-cam videos throughout the day. This is also an active recall method but it is more fun than just using flash cards or testing yourself. Also if you can’t talk out loud cause your in class or something you can also blurt by writing or typing everything you know about the topic.
Ask Ur friends to test you, teach Ur friends about the exam concept, flash cards, blurting, online materials, note-taking.
Hi prateek, I am from India. I moved to Portland, Oregon 3 years ago. I am a sophomore right now. Just stated the year. I had a 3.5 gpa in freshmen year because I didn’t knew the importance of it but now I wanna go to bs/md program and if I nail 4.0 gpa I would only be able to get a 3.75-3.8 gpa till my junior when applying to colleges. Would I be able to get admission in Ivy League or bs/md and what should I do else. I haven’t started volunteering yet. Please guide me. Thank you.
Hey Akshay. I ran the math, and if you have a 3.5gpa right now and get a 4.0 for the next two years you should have around a ~3.83gpa, which is not bad at all. This can be compensated with your standardized test score (i.e. SAT/ACT) and extracurriculars. Follow my bs/md video for a complete guide on the most important things to do.
This, sir, is your magnum opus. (in terms of videos)
could you do a vid on how to reach out to people for internships, shadows, ect?
Do a short vid on how to calculate your goa
nah youre smart man dont worry
pratik bhai what is that photo in the thumbnail 💀💀
If you have 1450-1500 SAT score, would you have a chance at bs md programs or should you just not submit the scores.
Sorry bro but this is a bit more complicated than what you're asking and I don't want to give advice I'm not qualified to give. Can you get into BS/MD programs with an SAT score of less than 1500? Technically, yes. Some programs, like VCU, for instance, have an average SAT score for accepted students of ~1515, which is on the lower end. However, it is definitely not typical for applicants in this lower score band to be accepted. The score can be seen as a stain on a seemingly good applicant's resume. HOWEVER, this also doesn't mean you just shouldn't submit your scores. I'm not an admissions counselor, so take this with a grain of salt: if you don't submit any SAT scores, that doesn't mean the college will just assume you could have scored highly. Other BS/MD applicants will absolutely have SAT scores they are submitting. If this is an arbitrary question then I might be going on a tangent, but if this is your situation, I think there is some strategizing that needs to be done. It might be worth it to pay a qualified admissions counselor for a few hours of consulting to try and find a strong direction for your application or see if it is even possible to take an SAT/ACT in the next 1-2 months and get a better score (of if it is even needed given the rest of your stats/ecs). It's not ideal, but don't ever give up. Things tend to work out in the end when you make the right calls.
I was a dumbass in high school graduated with a 2.0 was book smart all along scored with a high IQ but genuinely hated high school environment It was so draining I completely bombed it
Bro in my high schools tests are worth 80% of each class
This is a good thing! Mine is the same way and what this means is that your assignments are not very important. This means that you only need to worry about scoring around 90% on your assignments and only need to focus on studying during test weeks.
Bruh my school doesn’t have those brown paper towels 💀 we have an air dryer thing
Do middle school grades actually matter? I took a summer exam in middle school to skip geometry and I passed but with 95 on first semester and 83 on second semester. Is this going to come back to hurt me when applying?
@@Vaprium Thats reassuring. I am in the USA, and am not sure if they do matter. But hearing from you gives me more confidence that it won't affect. The only issue is that it is a high school course, but I took it in middle school. Will that change anything?
The kids at my school are such dry conversationalists. You ask them any questions about their day, their life, etc., they give you a one word response. And even if you do find connections with them, they kinda die down after 2-3 weeks. How do I become the "social kid" in this situation?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
it doesnt work well if you have formative and summative work
What if I've got 3 tests in a day
W video
👍
what if we have printers in the hall way with no desks and we have to sign into the libary and the study hall teachers are (female dogs) and actually write you up for going in, and what if my teacher puts out a search for me in the school (i was gone for 30 minutes and 10 teachers for looking for while i was studying in a random study hall room)
Bro Deadass gave me a whole guide to getting friends, hanging out, using them for school work, skipping class effectively, when to hang out, hygiene tips, when to workout, scdeuele stuff, how to study for tests, how to work on an assignment in class, and how to talk in class.
Yeah i also really wondered how scdeuele stuff
