You know when Ingested releases a new album, it's going to be a certified banger. This album is no exception to that. Another well done album by some of the hardest working dudes in metal.
I don’t believe that I neglected to comment on this release. I was obviously too busy thrashing this album. Awesome follow up to WOGMT. One of my favourite OG bands hands down. They never disappoint.
This album popped up in my feed the day after release. Liked the cover so I gave it a chance. Never heard of deathcore before and was shocked at how heavy this sounded. Immediately fell in love with the vocals, drums and guitar. After repeat listenings, this album has become a classic for me. Every track could easily be a single. After delving in to the genre for almost 2 months now and finding some great bands, it all started with this band and this album. The cool thing is, Jason has stated in a recent interview that Ingested are "very busy" (outside of touring) and that "much more is coming very soon". Love how they've evolved since they started (even though some don't) and can't wait to hear more of this sound from them. The themes on this album which are based on real-life realities are a huge plus and I can personally relate to all of it. For what it's worth, I think Ingested are leagues better than Lorna Shore any any other deathcore band right now. While I have found other deathcore bands I really love, nothing compares to this band. Thank you Ingested. You have a new fan.
@@DeathcoreManiac I'm simply going on everything I've read about the band. Their early stuff was considered slam and their newer stiff is considered deathcore. As I've said, I never even heard of deathcore before discovering this band. Actually never heard of slam before either. I actually don't really like brutal death metal, but regardless of how Ingested are labeled they are absolutely top tier and just get better and better.
@@ZackMorris1015 INGESTED are on another level compared to LORNA SHORE in terms of song composition. If you love this (as I do) listen to their previous album ‘WHERE ONLY GODS MAY TREAD’ (also YT streamed). It is my personal favourite and this is the perfect follow up. I love Lyn Jeffs’ God tier drumming, Sean Hynes’ brutal riffing and Jason Evans’ elite vocal range. Edit : In a YT thread Sean once described their band to me as “meat and potatoes deathcore”. In that case, I can’t live without my protein and carbs.
Was on Metal Blade Records channel the day this dropped. I literally listened to it front to back. Honestly never heard of Ingested but I am now a fan.
Discovered these guys around the beginning of this year. Literally haven't gone a day without listening to at least 1 of their 4 newest albums. Bangers after bangers.
Best Album of the Year for me, this one is one of your records with more variety, I feel that every song has its own thing. Scratch the Vain was different but I really like it and Rebirth sounds way better, this new mix makes a huge difference, the collabs are sick. I hope you guys keep making playthroughs of the other songs from the album. A fucking brutal Record and one that I'll remember forever!!!
Fuckin love Ingested saw them at the Webster Underground in Hartford CT. With Fit for an Autopsy they fuckin killed it people were hanging from the rafters on the ceiling and doing fuckin back flips off them
This whole album is absolute fire but fuck, echoes of hate is so brutal and aggressive. Definitely a lot more aggression on this album, I love it!🖤🔥Ty Jason and the rest of Ingested for this!
Absolutely loving this album! Less dynamic than the last album but a lot more aggressive. Definitely went heavier on this album. Just pure good old deathcore done well.
👿🔱😈.. Please tell the person who mixed the album that he is awesome.. Its perfect 👍...so many metal genre albums are mixed by a blind deaf dumb sound engineer and its ruins the music ..but not on this cd..great job 👍
Amazing album. Very heavy! The mix of deathcore elements and slam make for an aggressively energetic combination. Instruments+Vocals sound great, excellent production quality as well. There's really nothing that's not to like!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCKING INGESTED what a lovely surprise just before going to bed into another repetitive days work thank you guys for making music that takes me from my monotony
Such a great album, lads! It has everything "Where Only Gods May Tread" and more! Excited to see what you all accomplish with that sharp Metal Blade swing in your arsenal! Once you're done touring with Lorna Shore and everyone else on the Pain Remains Tour(in which I saw you in Mesa, AZ November 4th for the first time and absolutely loved it), what say you to a podcast or interview to talk all things Ingested and "Ashes Lie Still"?🤔🤔
One of their guitar players left last year. It's just three of the original members now. They had another session musician track bass and Miles from Interloper as a touring fill in for the pain remains tour.
This Album and the last one are absolutely bad. pls Ingested return to what you once where. "The Level above Human" was the last good release from you. Everything after that was just plain and not even heavy at all. I´m sorry but I´m a honest person and I will not hype stuff just because it has your name on it. 😭
Holy hell how is possible that Ingested gets better with each record. Damn, I sit here hoping you guys play a gig in Milwaukee cause you are one of my Top 2 bands to see live on my bucket list. The other being Bruce Springsteen (i have a huge range of music i love). But, damn boys this goes effing hard thanks for giving me this gem to watch on a damp, gray, rainy fall Wisconsin day. I got a few candles lit lights off and Ingested through my speakers, it doesn't get much better than that. A perfect tour would be Lorna Shore, Ingested, Revocation and Oceano on the same bill and let them all get an hour a piece. Keep metal alive boys!!!!! \m/ \m/ f yeahhhhhhhhh
@@BirdOfHermes83 omfg i should be ashamed cause im legit wearing a "Death Atlas" shirt today. I am pushing 45 and can't stand up like i used to at shows, but would easily sacrifice my comfort to add Cattle Decap to the bill. I was a metal fan when it wasn't cool or when people thought metal was Metallica and similar acts. I was listening to Obituary, Death, Deicide and the band that got me into metal above all Cannibal Corpse!!!!

Ingested is not even really deathcore more like brutal death metal with some core elements here and there

a real stone in the ears ..\.../ very cool

The combo of brutish chugging/female crooning is beyond silly. Granted, it's an unexpected way a deathcore album can suck, but still.

Nah. This ain't it. Their older albums (Surpassing human boundaries and Surreption and stuff) are MUCH better than their 2 recent ones in my opinion.
Their style is just changing imo, Job For A Cowboy experienced it too
