was that at Que club??? used to drive up from Notts for the 'Atomic Jams' great times, nearly got arrested there once after Birmingham Reclaim the streets!?! 🤣✌
Acid House the Godfather of Techno, such a strong genre, Early Chicago Jackin House, Acid House and US Garage are the 3 main roots to everything produced today in the underground club scene and in Dance music in general, I'm 40 and still love dance music of all genres(apart from dubstep and grime). People are saying theres a decline in the quality of dance music these days, there isn't youve just got to search for it, yeh the golden age was probably 88-95, but theres so many top artists .....
me an my wife sitting here just listing an going way back in the day we in our 40s now an it feels good to just remember all the crazy shit we done then an we can now sit back an laugh at it thenk you farley.steve .ralphi an any of you great djs i missed farley was my idol love you bro.
I havent signed into youtube to the extent of forgetting my password, but this track deserves the little labour of love, this is the sound we all surrendered to and was amazed by, "how do they do it, that kind of music"..... ACID WONDER!!!!
Reminds me of living in a horrible bedsit at the time it came out - at least I had some good sounds though! Used to give it some stick in my car too although I'd recorded from one of the London funk pirates so the signal wasn't that good throughout unfortunately! got my first house tunes in 1986 - 36 years ago now - that would have been like looking back to 1951 in 1986 - bloody hell that makes me feel old.
I used to have this 12" until my landlord threw them out of my flat with 100 other acid and house tracks from 88 I use to collect. Long story! I need somebodys help: I had an acid version of 'Automatic Lover' on an old grainy tape from 1988. It mixes in with Acidover. Ive tried to find the track on UA-cam or even google but the names wrong or its so rare. Id be very greatful if any of you Acid people know any information on it.. thanks!
......and producers around at the moment, theres a proper revival going on at the moment of house, jackin house,garage,techno,sub-bass,disco and 80's boogie, not only that its all being fused together expertly, by artists and producers like shadowchild, hannah wants, breach, maya jane coles,ts7,disclosure,bondax to name but a few. The Renaissance is here.

Heard this on the John Peel Show. Walked into a party next week in Birmingham and this was playing. The best version I reckon and exclusive to FRRR

When you need to raise your energy and creativity, nothing is better than Acid.
