Hi Ned, I use a Mustad 91768BLN Jig Hook, #2, or Ahrex TP650, #1/0. The fly also works pretty well on a standard bass stinger hook (like the Mustad B10S) and is what I initially tied the fly on before finding the jig hooks referenced above. The description is pretty easy to find on a computer web browser but more difficult on a phone. If you're watching on a phone clicking on the video title should bring up the description.
Great pattern. I love to fish for bass in lily pads. I’m adding this pattern to my fly arsenal.
Thank you. That's great to hear! We hope you catch lots of fish on them.
Great pattern. Thanks for sharing! The two common problems I have with bass flies are they are either top heavy or they foul. This solves both!
Thank you very much. We hope it works as well for you as it has for us.
That's brilliant, great job on the videography also -
Thank you very much Lars! Glad you enjoyed it.
Ingenious but simple and likely effective. Thanks
Thanks! We're glad you like it.
Very nice fly. Would be very effective in Florida. I am definitely going to tie some and fish them.
That sounds great! I hope they work for you.
Nice fly!
Thanks! We appreciate it.
Fishy looking pattern.
Putting your lures in to heavy cover is a big part of bass fishing. This fly will get it done
Thanks! Glad you like it. That's exactly what it's for.
I can't find the description. Plerse tell m what style and size of hook you are using so I can get some.
