i know this is a long time ago, but did you ever have issues long term or adjust it again? I got my EGT intalled and am going to try this today. Im topping out at 660 atm. Thanks for you videos. Your landyw as super clean
Great videos, I left a comment on, I think it was pt3 didn't realise it was in 4 parts, now it's clear why you are doing the tweet. Looks like a lovely place to live :-)
Glad it makes sense. Yes the tweaks have made a huge improvement but as I have said many times in the video and other posts, you need an EGT gauge set up first to monitor your tweaks and subsequent EGT's.
+Rover Tasmania I have no EGT....but my D1 leaves a HUGE black smoke screen when I go to full throttle and the boost peaks. I can literally pull a James bond disappearing act. It also puffs ONE big black cloud on startup. I need to get rid of these black clouds. What approach would you recommend if there is no EGT to guide tuning?
reggaerocket Black smoke means overfueling. Without knowing your setup, the first thing to try is turning back the 'smoke' screw 1/4 turns each time and test. At full throttle i wouldnt want to see more than a mist behind you. A bit of smoke on start up is normal.
