I understand the fur. I’ve got two long haired cats that are shedding like crazy. One thing I’ve found that really helps with the fur, especially in the carpets, is a fur rake. You can get one that’s made for the floor. I thought I was getting it all with the vacuum. I was gifted one last year by my sister in law. It was right around the time when I got a new bed frame. I swear it got 4 cats of fur out of that one area.

It's so nice to see you feeling a lot better, Maggie! I know you're not 100% yet, but you're healing and it shows. Don't underestimate yourself, that was a lot of cleaning and organizing you did! That would've been a lot even for me, and I didn't just have major surgery (although I do have chronic pain and fatigue, so I can relate to feeling overwhelmed and tired).
I love the built-in nooks/shelves you have in your home! Those are so nice for displaying items, and they don't take up any space like furniture does.
I am 100% grateful you were willing to share this! I have been so sick and fatigued that I let the house go completely! My closet was BAD! My desk similarly bad! My bedroom and bathroom and dining room table! Yikes!!!! I felt like I was the only adult in the world incapable of keeping everything clean when feeling crummy. If I had taken a video of all I did last Saturday it would have almost identically matched this one. 😂😂😂. I was exhausted after but so extremely proud of myself! So I know the feeling! Kudos to us for our cleaning endeavors when we have to energy to get it done! Happy Friday eve!!!!🎉🎉

Love your wording of being a "thing collector". That describes me too. A smart idea of having a box (or basket) to putting things in that don't belong in that room. We too have a multi-level home. One of our solutions to not carrying a vacuum up and down stairs was to go to garage sales or thrift stores and buy used vacuums. A lot of times they just need a good cleaning and filters replaced or cleaned. We have vacuums on all 4 levels of our home plus a couple of spare ones in case those we have break.

Thank you Maggie for being so transparent! Realizing what you go through and how you manage makes me feel like I'm not alone. I'm dealing with IBS-C and Gastroparesis - not fun! Facing surgery and living with seizures scares me to death! One thing I was told was to listen to my body - don't overdo. A hard lesson to learn but as I get older I'm definitely having to listen now. I used to feel so guilty for having to stop and take a nap but not anymore. I enjoyed this video as you went about "straightening up" the 2 rooms. Ha! You should see my closet! Anyway, I have to ask an off topic question. As you take us along on you trips to the doctor or lab I always see you with a beautiful mint green (at least that's the color on my screen) purse/backpack. I love it! Could you be so kind and let me know what brand it is. It looks perfect for what I need. Hope to hear from you and can't wait for the next video! Take care!

I love your window! Oh, that's the kind of window , a beautiful bay window where you can sit there and relax and look out the window and watch to sun go down or sunrise. Wow! I love your room. ID get one of those mats to put down, and have my coffee or tea. I look out at moon. I think I had one in the townhouse or condo that my Dad bought for me and my Mother to come up to live. Monroeville, Pennsylvania not far from Pittsburgh, but if you had an appointment you'd have leave hours before cause traffic. Me and my Mom had a tiny car accident on the back from Pittsburgh. The guy in the back meant to step on the break but instead he stepped on the gas. We both got whiplash. It didnt hurt until the next day and we were in pain so off we went to get me and mom checked out. My Dad was off work so he drove us. I loved my room there. I had a full bathroom at 15 years old and my room was huge. Snow galore everywhere. I wonder if those Townhouses are still there? I wish I could remember the name of them. I wrote huge comment lol sorry bout that. That window brought back childhood memories of being a teenager in Monroeville, Pa 😊
