This is really useful information.... thanks for sharing the webinars! It's much easier to catch them if available here, especially for an A.i. like me.
Thanks MOTU - this was excellent! Matt you're a wonderful teacher. I don't think I heard even one "umm". Please keep 'em coming.
2 years on and still super helpful. Great presentation and content. (Good pace for me not coming from a technical background)
Thanks for re-igniting my interest in DP. Left it awhile ago, but have come back. These webinars are perfect!!!
Totally agree. And Matt is a great content communicator. Although some of the Friday webinars have a really fast pace (understandable), I have learned a lot from them.
This is really good. Thank you. I've been a DP user for 20 years but still picked up lots of cool workflow ideas from this. Please post more of these.
Love these!! Looking forward to watching them all. Best training i've ever seen on DP!
Tooling around on DP in this way is very informative. Thank you
I'm behind, but thanks to this lesson I'm catching up. Thank you, Matt.

This is super useful! Thanks Matt and MOTU! More of these please! THX u
More coming!
@@motuTV Nice!
Very useful training video. Thanks!
Big Thanks for this...!!!
These are just about perfect. The only minor suggestion: It would be great if the time indexes were actual links to the time in the video.Total convenience thing so not a big deal, it’s just nice. Really enjoyed and learned from all of these Matt/MOTU. Thanks!!
Thanks for the recommendation - it should be live!
Thank you Matt!
More of these! Super useful!
More coming!
Can you please make more webinars available from all the other zoom sessions you had announced? We've been patiently waiting, and since you have uploaded any new ones for months it appears you may have reconsidered? They're incredible useful, and many of us creatives could not make the early morning zoom sessions live in-person.
Absolutely - we're on it :)
@@motuTV aaaaand???
Thank you!!!
Been a user since DP3 & this is GOLD, thanks! I was wondering about Undo History - it doesn't seem to record plugin moves, am I correct on this or just missing something? I did a test on this & couldn't seem to recall my plugin parameter adjustments.
We'll take a look - this may need to be added to the Undo History functionality
yes fantastic thx Matt !
omg temporary groups!!!!!!
Matt, this is great, thanks for this! Wondering if you can do a lesson on the new clips window and the workflows with it? Regardless, looking forward to more webinars!
Joey, a clips webinar is, in fact, going to be posted soon. Stay tuned! And thanks for watching!
This is a best !
In regards to question at around 1.16, It would be great if MOTU implemented a similar approach to s1 with the a separate recording and playback buffer. So you can lower the buffer on only the record enabled tracks easing strain on cpu and then being able to track with effects with low latency.
using a dark theme makes it difficult to see details. Please use a brighter theme. Esp if you're watching on a laptop. thanks for these webinars!
Is it possible to comp a track from several takes, come back the next day and add more takes and when you select "Show Takes" that it just add those new takes underneath the original comp track so I can select from them if I want to WITHOUT creating a new comp track? Creating a new comp track is unnecessary and only adds confusion when my goal is to get a single comp track from ALL of my takes. Thanks.
Hey Matt, above the tracks layout in either Seq or Track mode, where you can set( drag) rec punch in or loop points, I see a "grid" of small squares , looks like one for each function, I can't seem to find those on either my DP5 or my DP10 , I think these are called Auto Record Strip/ Memory Cycle Strip? but I don't see them on my DP10 ...so, when I want the punch in locations a red arrow appears ( up & down/ in & out) how do you get these "strips" to appear ?
Thank You if you can answer. Your videos are excellent. You play well too.
How to song export in preforme lite plz tell me sir
How do you set up a key command for change velocity? Thanks..
Thanks for this great webminar Matt and the team of MOTU. Really helpful and well presented information as I'm looking to make the switch from another DAW.
Hello, Thank you for the info. I'm trying to draw the midi modulation. Can't find the control on my computer that will allow me to draw (edit) my midi modulation . Any advise?
Are the pitch correction and other subsequent webinars recorded and available for listening? I would really like to hear what you covered. Thanks.
They're not available at this time, but will be shortly!
Hi Matt! Thank you for your videos! I just purchased DP 10 this weekend. What do you suggest for a beginners video? Thank you!
Check out the link below:

Groove3 has some awesome videos with learning all aspects of DP10. It's the perfect starting point for any beginner!
@@motuTV Thank you Matt!!
Hey MOTU, is there a snap to transient function in Digital Performer?
Yes. And you can tweak what are considered transients. And you can either snap relative or absolute. You can also nudge by transients, grid, real time, time code, etc. etc.
@@motuTV Thank you! Do you have a video on how to do so?
is there a way use a temporary group to assign different outputs to multiple channels
Track Assignments is perfect for this! It's found under the Studio menu in DP.
@@motuTV thanks 👍🏻
Little Joe Option-A is your best friend.
Baja!
Hi
how can I disable the informative hover-pop-up when clicking on controls in for example the mixer window, plugins and such, or more so from everything? Thanks!
This isn't an option in DP at this time, but I'll forward this to our team for consideration!
@@motuTV yes thank you it would be quite handy as some of these obscure valuable graphic information especially in plug-ins and on the mixing board in DP
For the future, it would be great if there could be a "Bite Gain Line" without having to switch to a different layer, and that these multiple points would also be reflected in the waveform (getting redrawn per point dropped)....this would make for more surgical edits, and avoiding having to cut up the clip and edit the clip gains independently....as well as giving you the ability to have ramps or other weird shapes!
Thanks for your feedback, Felipe.
@@motuTV I'm hoping I didn't come off as rude. I absolutely love DP and can't see myself composing in a different daw, EVER!!!!
Thank you professor, wonderful information packed seminar. Glad I left Logic Pro!
DP is amazing. Great teaching too! Thank you very much
Please give us a video on converting stereo tracks into two mono tracks, without having to drag audio sequences about.
Hey Simon - I would get in touch with our support team on the matter for a walkthrough
