As a current resident of Sisimiut - Greenland, I love this ship and its sisters. I have been aboard this one, and the officers and crew are nice and very competent. Usually only 18 people aboard this class while patrolling in the extremely rough waters around Greenland and the Faeroes.

The Canadian Navy invented a device we call a 'beartrap' . It hauls the helicopter down onto the deck regardless of the sea conditions. I liked the video but to be honest lots of human and asset risk could be mitigated if they had this device.
