- There's a dragon to fight! So I will do everything I can to delay the inevitable in my Hardcore Minecraft world.
This is hardcore, so you know the rules - one life and one life only. Plus, my own two rules of no iron farms and no totems of undying. How long can I last?

This is Vanilla Minecraft plus Optifine. Optifine helps Minecraft run more smoothly for me. I also use JermsyBoy's Better Foliage add on because I like the leaves and Replay Mod for third person and timelapse footage. There are no other mods or add-ons in the version I use. - Ігри
That’s how I would do the dragon fight…at least a week after I said I was going to do it. But, I would do the portal and everything first, too. 😁 Congrats on such skillful success! Now for more slow falling potions, ender pearl collection, and stockpiling blocks for bridging. I hope the first city you find is close by, and has the ship! Good luck (and yes, villagers can melt your brain! Ugh)
Thanks Suzi - great to know I have company in my approach 😀 I was really surprised by how smoothly the fight went in the end. I think I spent so long worrying about it that it was never going to live up to my anxiety levels lol

I do not blame you in the least for procrastinating! That is a stressful fight, especially on Hardcore! It’s definitely a lot of prep to be completely prepared for that flight!
I feel the pain with the villagers, my friends and I are making a grand library and I’ve been working on the villagers for it 🥲
You spent a lot of this episode bridging over lava lakes, next episode is bridging over the void! Good luck!
I thought of a new challenge you could add to this series! You could make an aesthetic Nether portal where there’s part of a vehicle in the Overworld and part in the Nether! The idea came to mind with an end ship up in the air, but it could be anything!
Also, the chicken disguised as a cow was hilarious
I love the vehicles in nether portals Jenn. I did one in Alphacraft ages ago (steam train) - I love how they add to the illusion of travel. Good luck with the villagers for the library - I feel your pain.

I have been looking for a minecrafter like you for years, so glad I found you! Honestly I'm annoyed UA-cam never recommended your channel to me, i came across it purely by chance even though we have much more in common than Minecraft! I hope there's more videos coming soon, I've loved every minute I've seen so far 😊
I'm so happy you have found me geordie laforge! There certainly is more coming, although at the moment it is slow and far between as I am in the middle of painting my house to get it ready to sell (and then selling and moving). Once all that is done I hope to be back to at least one video a week. In the meantime, I'll put videos out as and when I can. Stand by, there's a new (short) one out in a few hours from now.
This is the trap when you find an enchantment book you want, but is one level lower.
Because you then think "Oh well I can gamble for the max level."
...and it arrive, WAYYYYYY LATER. And at the end you start thinking "Okay give me back the old offer pleaseeeeee I'll take it, it just two books to fuse no big deal!"
Also can I say how greedy you are to beg for a discount of two emeralds even after so many attempts?! XD It's not like Feather falling will be bought as much as Unbreaking 3.

I know Shapeswitch_Mood. I was really silly to hang on. The really stupid thing, which I cut and on hindsight shouldn't have, is that after an hour of breaking lecterns he gave me IV for 15 and I said "no, I want 14". Three days later.... 🙄

Congrats on the dragon murder. You had me worried when you fought that piglin with no armor on, you mad-woman! Also, instead of placing dirt and breaking it every time you need to see a villager - this is 2023. You can use a top slab and crouch under it. :D
I forgot to put my armour back on when the potion wore off Typort. It nearly was the death of me! The dirt in front of the villager actually isn't there to stop him getting out, it's to stop pillagers from seeing him. So many of them wander through the base and around the surrounding fields. I really need to make the place more secure.
Great job beating the Ender Dragon, Dreyma! That was A LOT of procrastination, and I'm still admiring your gorgeous mirrored-floor portal room. Do you have plans for the End Portal room? That's a favorite of mine when people decorate that one. Good luck against those pesky shulkers, they can be brutal!
Thanks Angel! I want to do something special with the end portal room, but I don't know what yet - Probably not a reflected floor, but I'll have to see how I feel.
! hates bugz too. I also am terrified of bridging over lava lakes. Never thought to do it naked and under the influence though......Well done, another dragon gone! Now i need to go see if the dragon on my server still exists - someone may have respawned it... 🤢
I can vouch for pumpkin hats Julie! It is most often endermen who kill me in dragon fights. So much easier with a pumpkin on my head, even with the obstructed vision.
Great job on the ender dragon, textbook. A lot of prep, not procrastination. I would do exactly the same in a hardcore world. Try doing it all in the air sometime without your feet touching the ground. That's fun and takes a little practice but not on your hardcore world. You continue to amaze me with your video production skill. Great Job!

After all that prep and fear (and procrastination) Crystal Cat, frankly the fight was a bit of an anticlimax, although I suspect that was because of the pumpkin hat.
Did you know that in Bedrock you can move Lecterns with a Sticky Piston and a Lever... No need to keep breaking them to get the trade you want. Soooo wish we could do it in Vanilla.

Hi Dreyma, it's always the prep that takes longer than whatever {in this case the dragon fight} is .. very nice sword & boots, eventually {damn that villager was stubborn!!!} .. i thought you had a cleric you could buy ender pearls from? .. ah yes how to avoid Ghasts the Dreyma smart way {also i love your potions videos so helpful} .. i love that you couldn't just make a stone slab bridge, nope it had to be detailed that made me smile .. i see a froglight farm coming soon lol .. i love warped wood .. not so fond of the residence despite them being a way to get warped nylim without silktouch lol .. oh nice fortress & bastian :) woot .. never have too much food .. YAY you found it .. ugh silverfish {the first mob to kill me in MC} .. lol detour .. & were back {silktouch pickaxe only when there or under mountains is my only way of dealing with those pesky critters} .. i've said it before you are far braver than me still never fought the dragon {you've seen my luck with normal mobs could you imagine with a boss LOL} .. Thank you Clare. Your comments always put a big smile on my face 😄 The first mob to kill me in Minecraft was a baby zombie, which is probably why they freak me out if there isn't any water around. I forgot you can buy ender pearls from clerics - I am such an idiot! Oh well, I needed the path to the warped forest - love that wood type. And hey, if the endermen all go to a rave again I'll be free to wander around without much disturbance

At least your procrastination was related to preparing for the dragon fight ... I've spent the last month terraforming, because I don't like the dragon fight or end exploration and I'm not even in a hardcore world. As much as shulker boxes would make things easier, dealing with the end is just too annoying.
I totally understand Meto Pema! The End is the biggest anxiety inducer for me, whether on hardcore or ordinary survival! Just as well Mojang made shulkers or most of us would never set foot in the place!

Sorry about that Christopher. Things have been very busy here with life stuff and I had a lot of trouble with the sound on this one. Seriously took me a week just working on that problem, aside from all the other editing. I really didn't want to have so long between episodes.
