Sweep tires are pretty decent. Silver or blue depending on temperature. If it's really hot go with blue compound. Only use gold/yellow compound for a indoor winter race. Silver is decent in the spring and fall. I have also been experimenting with VP-PRO STRIKER EVO truggy tires (not on this video) and I have had decent results. Their S compound wears well. SSL and SS have way better traction. I am still a little undecided on what compound I like with VP-Pro. VP-Pro also has very reasonable pricing on their tires also. If you are looking at cheap decent truggy tires that last a good while Sweep defenders in Blue compound or VP-PRO STRIKER EVO in S compound would be my top picks.
Louise, DE, AKA, Proline, Sweep all make great truggy wheels. I don't think you can go wrong with buying truggy wheels from any of those brands. Louise does still make a "0" offset truggy wheel that is compatible with pro-line, AKA, Etc. You may have to resort to ebay to find them. VP-Pro makes a good truggy tire. The Striker EVO and the Gripz EVO are both decent budget priced tires. Tires are largely going to be determined by what you are doing (racing or bashing) and what kind of soil conditions you are running in. I would recommend staying away from anything from Rawspeed. Their support is terrible and their 1/8 wheels are horrible. If you get a chance check out my tire gluing video ua-cam.com/video/spkdzhxaS9I/v-deo.html
