Then talk more about how college football's current bowl/playoff system and their treatment of athletes is deplorable and that the NCAA major college football system has been as corrupt as FIFA for decades. Be honest.
To be honest and to be fair should be the same thing. "Player xyz lacks ability to abc" might be honest but not fair because its incomplete. "Player xyz lacks ability to abc but he is able to make up for it most of the time by doing whatsoever". Is equally fair and honest because it does not cut out part of the truth.
The truth? Honesty? The truth is the Packers have been wasting Rodgers potential by surrounding him with mediocre talent. QB is a position that depends on everybody, that is why he is having bad numbers. McCarthy has thrived with Rodgers making magic happen. ALL of the Packers past great plays have been on broken plays. What does that mean? It means that what McCarthy did didn't work, and Rodgers had to improvise, avoid defenders, and give his slow receivers time to separate cause they can't do it themselves. Nelson is the only above receiver in the team. Now that he is older and coming from an ACL, he is a lot slower and off his game. That reason the Patriots win is cause Bellichick is always about the present. They have an aggressive approach in the draft and free agency, and in playcalling, while McCarth and Thompson are the opposite. It is literally Rodgers vs the defense and nothing else. When you see the other QBs (Brady, Ben, Ryan), they are throwing to guys that are open. They never have to scramble or do any ridiculous throws on the run, cause their system actually works.
So what? Other quarterbacks have much less talent around them and are still playing fine. Aaron Rodgers hasn't played to his standards in over a year, and has actually played below average.
i also agree. if anything i would say hard hitting questions. the problem is when access to these people. for instance CNN and MSNBC have to mind thier Ps and Qs or lose access to that person on thier show. as i believe if journalist had real convictions and real integrity they would do more follow up questions and hold each accountable for what they do, say, or for simple clarification on a topic.
so he should've been fired cause a dude dropped an onside kick that was literally right in his arms... can't make the coach the scapegoat. packers had that game won. McCarthy was not the reason they lost.
Cincy Fan You could make an argument however that he lost them the game due to over-conservativeness early in the first half. Field goals instead of going for the TD at the goal line.
Colin has slowly but surely become one of my favorite members of the media, he's fair and honest, I don't always agree with him but never get sense that he says things just for shock value as opposed to other people I can skip Bayless... I mean mention
Idk I just think the media should report the news. Like with the election they didn't report honestly. Both sides did everything they could to make their political favorites sound good. Like just tell the truth and let people pick sides. They're unfair in how they present their news instead of just honestly reporting what happened.
Best passer rating in the history of the league, best TD-INT ratio, two of the greatest seasons by a quarterback in NFL history that resulted in league MVP awards, etc. Doubt he's overrated dude
Mike Francesa has been very aggressive with interviews because he's made his money and is retiring in a year. It's made his interviews much more interview because he doesn't pull any punches anymore
Worst team in the NFL is the Browns, period. Barkley did pretty well, until we picked him off twice in the last couple minutes. It should have ended 26 - 3 or so, if they didn't get lucky on a fumble. They only got 3 points by working for them lol
***** Barkley wasn't that bad minus the 2 ints, plus he's right out of college. Rodgers wasn't playing Barkley either, he simply cut up their defense and outscored them. Also, 1 to 6 is better than 0 to 7
***** He turned it over twice in the last several minutes... the second was simply a game ender for a game that had already ended... And saying the Panthers are still good even though they're 1 and 5 is simply ridiculous, there's no coming back from that.
Honestly, they have been looking better than the Panthers. They lost to the Packers by 4 points and Ravens by 2, even though they lost to the Raiders by 17 and Chargers by 14 they seem to keep most of their games close.
the herd>first take and undisputed
Cristiano Messi I like all of them, I just like to see everyone's side of things
Jacob Wexler colin isn't as repetitive or cliche as the other two, and more importantly doesn't talk about politics as much
Cristiano Messi I definitely agree with that haha. and the herd is the best out of all of them to me too
I watch The Herd for legitimate insight. First Take and Undisputed are my guilty pleasures
Skip is the GOAT
Colin is right.....good segment
Do you agree with Colin?
Speaking in third person, aye? I dig it.
I'm glad Colin made the distinction between being fair and honest because most of the time unfair people are dishonest.
thank you Colin

Evan agrees with Colin.
This is why you have always been my favorite talk show host.
so being realistic and calling it like it is is suddenly some earth-shattering revelation and a sign of courage that needs to upheld... congrats !
"Do I need to pull a Belichick on you" lml I love it
this is so true honest>fair
espn actually asked him to talk about the wnba?
To be honest and to be fair should be the same thing.

What it comes down to is all the receivers lack speed and can't get down field, which makes all the defenders sit on all the quick reads
So what? Other quarterbacks have much less talent around them and are still playing fine. Aaron Rodgers hasn't played to his standards in over a year, and has actually played below average.
OldSchoolLimp Rodgers is overrated stop making excuses
Durk Banks you guys must feel dumb now lmao. he has a legendary year
Durk Banks but I forgot he is so over rated...

McCarthy is an average coach and should have been fired after the Seattle playoff game.

Colin Cowherd: I like to hate on Aaron Rodgers.
Colin has slowly but surely become one of my favorite members of the media, he's fair and honest, I don't always agree with him but never get sense that he says things just for shock value as opposed to other people I can skip Bayless... I mean mention
Skip Bayliss, Colin Cowherd, Max Kellerman, Stephen A. Smith what do they all have in common??? None of them know what they're talking about!!!
Really good stuff Colin. 👍🏽

The Herd is the best, my god he inspired me to slap people who complain.

I hate the media but I agree with this
The same John Walsh from Americas most wanted?
We going see when it counts
LOL i like how Mcado calls Eli a 'young man' when hes only 4 years older than him
M.Night207 talking about O'Dell...
Touche
what's Colin's take on marshawn not talking to media? Just curious.
Has anybody ever thought that maybe Arron Rodgers is just overrated and isn't really that amazing
Best passer rating in the history of the league, best TD-INT ratio, two of the greatest seasons by a quarterback in NFL history that resulted in league MVP awards, etc. Doubt he's overrated dude
Then explain his career, you can't fake what Rodgers has done.
Eufamous He surely is rn
+Richard Reuter After his performance in Atlanta? I think he's underrated dude lol
+Richard Reuter He threw 4 touchdown passes Sunday, 3 of which went to receivers who have never caught one in a regular season game.
If you're being honest about the facts (not so much about how you feel) arent you being fair
i love u colin
I would love to debate with u Colin
Mike Francesa has been very aggressive with interviews because he's made his money and is retiring in a year. It's made his interviews much more interview because he doesn't pull any punches anymore
Isn't "honest" what got you fired from the 4 letter network? So egotistical you will never get it!
Is 3 second half touchdowns good enough for you Colin?

That's fair, but chances are by the 7th week you've played some hard teams
Honestly, they have been looking better than the Panthers. They lost to the Packers by 4 points and Ravens by 2, even though they lost to the Raiders by 17 and Chargers by 14 they seem to keep most of their games close.
lol colin implying he is honest. flip flops on gsw every other day
