We are very proud of our City Manager, Carmen Rosamonda, who has been honored with not one, but two prestigious awards in 2024!
Carmen has received the Professional Management of Excellence Award and has been named the 2024 Volusia League of Cities Executive Officer of the Year.
🏆 The Florida City & County Management Association (FCCMA) has honored Carmen with the Professional Management Excellence Award for 2024.
🏆 The Volusia League of Cities (VLoC) has named him the 2024 Executive Officer of the Year.
The FCCMA represents professionals from 479 cities and counties across Florida and highlights outstanding local government management through its annual awards. Similarly, VLoC fosters collaboration among municipalities in Volusia and advocates on their behalf.
Carmen's journey with our city started when he served on DeBary's very first city council and went on to become our 2nd mayor. For the past five years, he has continued his outstanding service as our City Manager, fostering strong community spirit.
