You can tell Bobby loved singing this song as much as we loved hearing it. Kudos to him for continuing to do so. Not as crisp as he once was but still heartfelt and demonstrative of his talent. RIP Bobby Hatfield you are missed.
His singing is beautiful even now. When Bobby sings you don't just hear it, you feel it. And I can still hear and feel the love and emotion coming from him. My heart hurts that he was probably in a lot of pain by this time and that he had to leave us. His voice is still beautiful to me ♥️
This is heartbreaking. Here, as in every song he sang, he poured all of his heart, soul , mind and body. I think that this must be getting toward the end, because at the RnR Hall of Fame he looked so good, and gave a flawless performance. Bobby, I cry for you, why didn't you take better care of yourself? Thank you for the legacy of your beautiful voice and great music. We will always love and miss you.

Shut the fuck up. It is awesome he decided to perform this no matter if he has lost his angelic voice since 1965. He passed away shortly after he sang this year 2003. Some people decide to rut away, but not him.
@@janicenicholls5924 I never said it sounded bad, now did I? If you have a somewhat reasonable English knowledge you would understand that I meant the straight oposite. Nah, it seems to me he's playing with that song.... you don't have to sing a song straight every single time you sing it. You can play with it and change it up. True, maybe he didn't hit ALL of the high notes, but he DID hit the money note!
@@janicenicholls5924 Honestly I can't agree, I did listen him hit any specific note at all, he was completely busted, he was a completely different person at this point, it's really sad because he used to be awesome back on the day...
His upper range and falsetto were 95% gone. I saw them in 1990 or 91 when Ghost was out and they were touring. It was before there was internet and UA-cam...his voice was completely gone then too.
