Haha, no dad joke, but I did dance a little, which is equally as bad 😂 Yep, finished up inside where it was much more comfortable. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic job cutting out the flutes/grooves. You need to convince your dad to buy you a Shaper Origin for Christmas! lol. It would have been twice as fast with the Origin to set those up and get them cut
Just looked that up. That’s a really cool tool. Don’t think I could justify it for my projects right now, but maybe down the road. Or, if like you said, my dad wants to get it for me…… (maybe he’ll read this) 😂
I've been watching you and your dad for the past couple of years. I just finished building my 32x28 shop mostly by myself with friends helping out when heavy lifting was required. You guys were my main inspiration and resource on all things construction!
For the automotive nuts, they could make the front openings in the shape their favorite car grille. Thinking that a Jeep, 49 Buick, BMW, or old style Jag might catch a few smiles if the proportions are copied well!
When that router bit box breaks, you’ve got choices: build a new one - use the old one for ideas for parts and to improve on - or glue the old one back together with your Titebond.
That’s right! 😁 I already stapled the cover back on the lid, as that popped off pretty quickly. I need to glue one of the bit holders back in place now.
Haha, it’s great. Really like having the cordless. Have been looking at tables for it. The one disadvantage I see to having cordless is you can’t hook it up to the buttons that come on the tables. Have to reach under the table to turn it on.
I like it a lot, practical and attractive! 👌👍 The front reminds me of old radios but without the dials and channel display. Don’t ask me how I know. 😆👵🏻
Haha, thanks! 😁 That’s kind of the look I was going for. I purchased some knobs that I was going to put on just for decoration, but decided I preferred it without the knobs. Thanks for watching!
I have this short on it: ua-cam.com/users/shortsQj5x8AAUYVI?si=HPpnhhjeZN1C3kpS Kind of a quick review about it, but let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to know about it. Thanks for watching!
The lead should just come out as you advance the lead by clicking the button on the top of the pencil with your thumb. Do you know if there’s lead in the pencil? If it didn’t come with lead in the pencil, you can load it by holding the button down, and sliding the lead into the metal end the lead comes out of. Or on the pica, you can remove the green button, and slide the lead in from there. I don’t have the OX neardby at the moment, so I can’t remember if that button removes, as well. Which pencil did you buy? Hope it works for you.
I have the pica 3030. It looks like the sharpening blade is blocking the lead from coming through ? It will not go through from the end also. Sorry to keep nothing you here. I have purchased two of these
@@davidaldrich3488 oh, it sounds like you need to pull the pencil out of of the sheath. It comes in a sheath / holster that is green and has the sharpener on the bottom. Pull from the top, and the pencil will come out of the sheath.
Wow! Perfectionism! I love it!
Thanks!
Perfect!!. NO DAD joke. Looks like you had to move indoors for that last bit before frost bit got ya.

You are a talented woodworker Chad! Nice video! Glad you are feeling better!
Thank you! I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Chad you did a excellent job, you should make a router table.
Thanks! Yes, that would be very handy. I’ve been trying to decide whether to build one, or just buy one at some point. Thanks for watching!
Very nice project, Chad. You really captured the old-school radio look!
Take care and God Bless.
Thanks! I appreciate you watching!

Oh wow, that’s awesome! That’s a great size shop!
Chad, that is Perfect!!! Enjoyed the build. Hope your recovery is going well. Keep on keeping on & have a wonder day
Thanks so much! Recovery is going well. I’m feeling a lot better, and gradually increasing activity. Thanks for watching!
Nice job Chad! Looks like it belongs in that corner!
Thank you!

Cool design. You should lower your table saw blade alot to just over the height needed. If you slip it will keep fingers in tact.
Thank you! I will try to be better about that. I do like my fingers 😁 Thanks for watching!
Nice touch 🎉 Easier on the eyes 🎉
Thanks! I appreciate it!
love me the wood working content!
I figured you might, being a Festool user!

Very nice, I see you’re using the OX. Sadly in all this craziness going on in the last couple weeks I’ve misplaced my Pica😢
Dan, Timmy is in my prayers, as well as all your family. 🙏❤️
Oh no! Hope you find it! I’m sure it will turn up. Do you have your big Pica, at least?
