My pressure foot won’t go down unless I do it manually and it says in the instructions online that the coil is inside the tube and I cannot figure out how to access it oil it. I can’t find picture diagrams 😢
Thanks for this. I'm considering buying one of these. How concerned should I be about older computerized parts going out? Are repairs very costly/difficult? Thanks!
The issue is computer "mother boards" do not last for long and Pfaff does not provide schematics for "board repair".. A competent person with access to capacitors ( Those are the parts most short lived ), can repair them for an expensive price ( $300.00 or so ). Pfaff machines are now made in China, so the "German quality" is now gone… Parts are very difficult to find now..
I know it's been a while since you serviced this machine... Are these the only batteries in this machine and do you remember where they were located??? Mine is saying "change battery" on the utility stitches screen. I didn't even know it used batteries - you would think by plugging it in - it would have all the power it needs LOL
Respectfully, you skipped a place when threading to wind your bobbin…there is a silver “hook” just 1” behind that silver button you’ve shown, the thread slips into that hook first, then around the button.
Thanks. This helps so much
Your Very Welcome 🧵
Can you tell me how to get a serpentine stitch with this machine. I just now found your site.
I wish I could. This is a customer sewing machine. But if you need a Manuel let me know. I can find a link for one.

Your welcome, I mostly clean these sewing machines. I am only a Sewing Machine mechanic. I am not a tech.

Machine looks new
I am not sure. The lady couldn't get it to run right so I looked into it. Figure out a needle point got stuck in the gear.

They are always on the bottom some times they are found on the side.

Okay, I will tell my customer. Thank you, for letting me know.
