Nice!! It's no fun having a bad gas gauge (don't ask me how I know).

You have made a ton of progress on that old girl. I’m glad that you rescued this one. Such a cool car!

Hey thanks for getting back to me so fast. I went with the truth. I wouldn't want to get screwed myself. It's just a shame because the car is beautiful. Now I'm down to the sister car of your Delta. Except mine is a 1978. With the 350cid. I would have liked the 403 but i can't complain. With dual exhaust no catalytic converters new vaccuum lines and some advanced timing I can leave a light with wheels ablaze. Once again thanks. You are one hell of a mechanic.

Justin I wanted your opinion because your a Oldsmobile guy. I have a 1984 Oldsmobile 98 2dr. Sand color body with a dark blue interior and quarter blue vinyl no rips or tears. 51,000 mi. Dad bought it new.. Ten yrs ago before it had classic insurance and someone blue a light God bless NY and the front clip needed replaced. They called it a Total. But I fixed it out of pocket. She is sold and beautiful. Unfortunately I need to sell it now. Everyone's tell me it's not worth anything because it has a Total on the title. Is that true. What do you think it's worth. I know your know your shit and I respect your opinion.

the integrity of the fix cant undo the history and the fact it was in a accident, its going to haunt the car. the value now depends on how interested the buyer is and what their willing to pay if they know the history. it kinda forces you over a barrel. you either sell it as is with its complete history known to the buyer, and agree to sell for a 20% reduction on market price as a compensate. or you just flat out lie through your teeth and get the most you realistically can and hope the buyer never notices the subtle damage and changes if any that is there.

LOVE the "fab work" on a car that is clearly "past it"!
