It's funny to see the Fongoids at Kerwan. They should not appear before A Crack in Time, but in this game they are already here. And man! Does Big Al looks old now, or what? This new look added almost 30 years to his original self.
In the original game he had a bit of a beard shadow going on. Looks like it went full circle at last. Interested to see how they handle him becoming a cyborg, if he does at all.
Solid Speedforce (RatchetTUX) I agree, but not at 100%. This R&C is focusing more on action than the original from PS2. OST from PS4 reboot fits this game a lot better. But this is my opinion.

If this game had the same space exploration and space radio as A crack in time did, this would be my all time fav probably I enjoyed the moon exploration sooooo much in ACIT!
+Rajivrocks Ltd. The space exploration was awesome (even though it could have been more fleshed out), but it might not fit the first game that well, with it being more linear than the later games (as far as I remember).

YES. I was worried about the reboot but... This lays all worries to rest. Every single one. This game is as great as the first, and it looks like it's almost a remake enough to make fans like me (who have played almost every entry in the series) to feel right at home. All we need is a Classic Ratchet skin and the option to toggle the original music, and I'll be 12 again, sitting in front of a ps2 playing ratchet and clank after getting out from school........
What excites me the most about this apart from the beautiful graphics and gameplay is the fact that this is a good indicator of where the franchise is headed. Can't wait till this releases!

boooy this looks so good. im excited. i dont really mind all the talking during game play as it makes it feel a bit more alive, though of course it depends on how many different lines of dialogue there it. it may get a bit annoying on a replay.
I hope they do something special for long time fans by having the old soundtrack in the goodies menu (If it has one) that you can turn on if you've previously bought the trilogy on PS3.

Absolutely loved his soundtrack for Into The Nexus. Don't give a single fuck about what people say, Bergeaud was great, but I don't see his style fitting those new modern and much more detailed visuals. Plus, he was not that great on the narrative side...

Plus, Bergeaud's music was incredibly poor, on the narration side... No directing line at all, just old-school level-based music. Hopefully they got Boris Salchow for A Crack In Time, that game needed a more constructed approach and he did an amazing job on it. Still the best game & story in the whole series to me. I loved Bergeaud's music in the older Ratchet games, but I think Boris Salchow and Michael Bross did some amazing job too, in their own way. Hate how people always look to the past and ignore the new composers work, which was mostly praised.

The game looks preety wonderful and I'm really sad for don't have a PS4 yet. But also have some things I didn't like, as the Ratchet's mouth (it's smaller than the previous ones and he got black lips), and the fact that some stages are very similar to the first game (example: Novalis, Aridia, Pokitaru). OK, that's a remake of the first game, but I was expecting new maps and more different elements. Even the location of some Gold Bolts are in the same place where them was hidden at the original. So, who played the 2002 game will not have much difficulty to find the special itens at this new one, I guess. But the game stills amazing!!!
Any chance of the Future trilogy being remastered for PS4? ACiT still looks gorgeous even by today's standards but I'd sure love to play through Tools of Destruction with a trophy list finally added in.
Couple things Al looks like a Caveman Juanita looks kinda hot and it feels so awkward that Ratchet does not call Al a nerd like in the 1st game that`s nostalgia in a nutshell but OMG the game looks awesome top 10 games of 2016 meet my number 1

Given that the movie was originally supposed to release last year, one would assume the game was near completion at that point. Did the game need delayed as well, or did you guys basically get an extra year to fine tune it?
