We do not do that, our camera is not good for that. However, if you have an 8k camera, then yes. 4k gives you too low resolution to grab a frame these days for licensing. I know people do that. If we ever do that, we would be very selective with stock photos. Stock photos are gradually turning into a dead end avenue for many.
Closeups typically do not require property releases. But, wide angle shots of entire rooms may contain something recognizable and you may need a property release.
