Damn! I've seen the TV ads for the vaccine here in NYC , and I've been putting it off, but seeing you in so much pain 😢 that really touched me! I'm so sorry and hope you feel better fast! ❤❤ I'm going to share this video with everyone!!
Hi Wayne, first off, considering what you’ve been through these past two days, thank you for fighting through the discomfort long enough to update your fans. Your post yesterday had me worried and I could tell you were not yourself. Personally, I have never contracted shingles but know people who did. I still remember the look on their faces when describing the symptoms. Let’s just say, that alone got my attention. Have you ever contracted chickenpox? I read that the virus responsible for chickenpox remains within your system and is known to reactivate as shingles. Wayne, you are in my prayers. Sending you much love from my home to yours. ❤❤❤❤
I got shingles a couple of years ago! Everyone made fun of me because I was 44 and called me an old lady! I got it in the same place as you! It took a couple of months to recover. I wish you a speedy recovery!
Wow your “friends” are AHs. Glad you’re better now. If you are in the US you can insist your doctor give you the vax even though you are “too young”. Insist on it, I’m so glad I did
Oh I feel for you Wayne, so much. I had it several years back, on my lower back, didn't know I had it till the rash appeared but for 7 solid days and nights I had excruciating non relenting pain down my right thigh. Worst pain I've ever had and I've had Rheumatoid for 32yrs. Not hung touched it, not my opiates or Amitriptyline. It wiped me out like nothing else, so please rest as much as you possibly can. ❤❤❤
Oh, sugar !!! You rest and get better soon. Take your time !!! WE UNDERSTAND ! and expect you to fully recover before you come back. It's so painful because it follows the path of nerves, and nerve pain is relentless 😢😢
Reminding me to get my shot! I've heard the horrendous stories and how there isn't really much you can do until it plays out. Can you believe some people get this on their face and around an eye?!? I got the shingles vaccine, and it's about time to get the 2nd shot, which fingers crossed, will save my future self! So sorry to hear you're suffering now but thank you for sharing your experience and raising some awareness.
I am glad you got it checked out - hope you move through it quickly. Sending healing vibes and yes, you are def allowed to feel sorry for yourself ~ it sounds 1000pct miserable
Ouch!! I’m so sorry you are suffering! I just completed my Shingles vaccine series last fall. Hoping you have a quick recovery and your pain subsides soon!
Did you have any negative side effects with the 2 part vaccination? I had the old Shingles shot several years ago. I have not opted for the new one because many people I know have gotten sick from from it. 🤷🏼 I feel like I'm pretty well protected having had Shingles and then getting the shot back then.
@@jann3443 I got the vaccines last year, too. I did get sick after the 2nd shot. It was like a mild flu and only lasted a day. 100 times better than getting shingles, which I've had. Having shingles doesn't make you immune or lessen them in the future. My aunt had them multiple times and each time was worse. That was before the vaccines.
@@jann3443I had my series last fall. Felt feverish for one day. Pretty much 0 side effects and even if there were they beat getting shingles and or the permanent damage they can cause
I’m so sorry that you are going thru this. I had 18yrs ago on the side of my face & my eye. So many pills & eye drops per day. Everything turned out just fine tho & you will too 😀 You’re being so brave, take care, it will go away. ❤ Virtual hugs because real ones will be painful.

I'm so sorry that you have that, I just couldn't get over the pain, no one knows until they experience it. Get well soon. Take care of yourself. Get the shot after your shingles go away. I haven't tried it yet, but should get it because I never want to have that AGAIN!! Sending healing thoughts to you Wayne. (from Sandi)
I'm so sorry that you are going through this, Wayne! I saw the agony a neighbour went through when he had it, so I got vaccinated as soon as I was eligible (age 50). Your video brings awareness. Wishing you comfort. I hope it resolves soon. 🥺
I've not had them YET but I have heard they are beyond painful. You have my utmost sympathy and compassion. I hope you heal as quickly as possible. ❤️🩹
If you’re over 50 and you’ve had chicken pox, go to your pharmacy and ask for the shingles vaccine. There’s a miniscule risk of getting a mild case of shingles, but it will protect you from this painful and debilitating viral outbreak. One never truly gets rid of the herpes zoster virus that causes chicken pox, it just hides quietly in your nervous system.
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry you're going through all these horrific discomfort. I can only imagine how you feel. You're in my thoughts and prayers and hope this all passes fast and you get to feeling much better. Sending you a hug.
Thank you for the reminder that I need to get that shingles vaccine! I've known people who had them and I surely don't want them. Hope you improve soon.
I had one in my eyes in March and SO PAINFUL. Sending you positive vibes because I understand you so well. Please try to rest if you can but I know it's very difficult to do so. xoxo The pain you had in your shoulder it because the virus tend to get to your lymph nodes where it sits. This why you had pain there past week because the virus was waking up. Take care from your distant nurse from Canada!
I had it in 2019 , it was the worst I have ever felt in my life , the pain was worse then childbirth and it lasted for weeks , it felt like something was crawling under my skin and it was eating me alive , I know your pain, just rest up love . Eat well when you can and drink plenty of warm drinks , you will feel so cold , but you will be sweating a ton , try to sleep as much as you can , your body needs to rest so it can fight , I hate to say this , but it took me 3 months to feel well after wards , it wrecked me , sending best wishes , get well soon

I’ve had the first shot and I was sick for a week but I’ve also had shingles and I guess getting the 2 dose vaccine is worth it although I’ve heard the second shot is even worse than the first. Was that your experience?
@@marcywendt9583 if I’m being perfectly honest - I was so nervous to get the second shot - however, I did not experience any side effect from the first one. But I also heard what you heard - that the 2nd shot is worse. I did experience stomach pain and felt like I had the flu for a couple of days after the 2nd shot but I also feel I’d rather feel like I had the flu for a few days than get Shingles!! I would say get the 2nd shot - it really wasn’t that bad!! Best of luck!!!

I've always feared shingles since because I can't process the idea of it being even worse. I hate that this is happening to you! I hope that it clears up super quickly and that the meds stop wearing you down.

Wayne, I hope you read this. I had horrible shingles last year. Really unbearable. I'm someone who does regular fasting, and I don't know why but it didn't occur to me until a few weeks into the awfulness to try fasting, but when I did it cut the pain by about 80% and the healing of all the sores sped up as well. I ended up doing a 10 day water fast at the end of which I was healed. I'd advise this to anyone going through this. Prayer helps too! God bless you. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Aww Wayne... I'm so sorry. Hoping, praying, and vibing for your speedy recovery!! This is the opposite of fun, I really hope it all leaves you alone ASAP. ::gentle hugs::
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! I had a friend get shingles about a decade ago, so I made sure to get my shingles vaccine as soon as it was recommended (age 50 here in the US). I hope you get better soon.
I’m so glad you shared your experience because I was told by a pharmacist that shingles doesn’t always present on your truck but is very painful. So I decided to get the vaccine for it since a couple of my relatives did describe it as being very painful.
I had it around my waist when I was 17, high school days in Taiwan are full of exams and homework and I was in the middle of stressful preparation for a major exam. I was in so much pain that I couldn't focus on anything nor could I have a good night's sleep. The horrible situation went on for a couple of weeks, the medicine I took wasn't really helpful. At the end my mom had to take me to some kind of specialist to do a mysterious alternative therapy, hoping that ritual could bring a closure to the whole thing. Shingles is NO JOKE, and I hope you get better asap.

Bless your heart, Wayne! I had shingles a year ago and was given a prescription for an antiviral (acyclovir or valcyclovir) and went to a pain doctor who did injections in the area. Mine were on the base of my neck and head. They don’t pass the midpoint. I was fortunate because it was relatively mild. But we have a vaccine in the states which I hadn’t gotten. I could’ve kicked myself. God bless you, and if it helps try acupuncture because that worked wonders also. Prayers for a quick recovery

I am sorry to hear that! Hope it passes quickly
Oh my! That burning itch is incredible, the second worst pain in my 47 years. I hope you feel better soon and wish you a speedy recovery! ❤️🙏❤️
You reminded me to get my first shot. I was supposed to do it a while ago.
Been there. Worst pain imaginable! Hoping you recover soon. Hang in there!
I am glad you got it checked out - hope you move through it quickly. Sending healing vibes and yes, you are def allowed to feel sorry for yourself ~ it sounds 1000pct miserable
I’m sorry to hear this. I hope you feel better soon.
@@jann3443No negative side effects for me! Just a little rash by injection site.
Same
@@jann3443 I got the vaccines last year, too.
OMG that is painful, I do hope you’ll feel better soon Wayne! 🙏❤️
I had shingles two years ago and I've never been in that much pain!!! I had a lot more than that and it was on my hip.
You can get a vaccine to prevent shingles.
Get well soon! Take care of yourself x
I'm really sorry that you have to go through this😢 nerve pain is one of worst things in the world. I hope you will get better soon Wayne❤
Ouch. My poor Wayne.
Good luck and speedy recovery. ❤
So sorry, Wayne. Sending healing vibes and hoping it resolves completely FAST.
I had one in my eyes in March and SO PAINFUL. Sending you positive vibes because I understand you so well. Please try to rest if you can but I know it's very difficult to do so. xoxo
The pain you had in your shoulder it because the virus tend to get to your lymph nodes where it sits.
So sorry. I can't imagine how painful that all is. Hope you recover quickly. ❤
This poor guy can not catch a break. Wishing you the best. I live with a neurological disorder that makes up intense pain and causes inflammation in the worst places- head, joints, gut... its horrible. Been doing this for so many years, i lost count. No one cares or does anything to help it. I really feel for you and everyone living with serious pain.
As to no one cares I think the thing is no one can see your pain or imagine how it feels. I hope you don't mind me adding my 2 cents worth but I live with chronic pain after a back injury at work which I was forced to leave. I feel like my doctor does not care and keeps trying to cut my medication down even though the pain specialist prescribes it. My work place managers certainly did not care. Best wishes to you
OMG, poor you!!! I feel for you, I got them a few years ago behind my eye. May you heal fast Wayne
Wayne, I’m so sorry to hear this from you. You are so brave to find strength to video in spite of the pain. You make me want to get the shot to avoid getting it!!!! I’ll say a special prayer just for you to feel some relief soon!!!! Hang in there!!!
You poor lamb. I had it. On my face and scalp. Glad to hear you are seeking medical treatment for the symptoms. Rest. Fluids. Time. Sending healing thoughts!
I'm so sorry you have to go through this! I wish you a fast recovery.
Oh Wayne, I'm so sorry you're having such pain. Get better soon ❤
Dearest Wayne - I am feeling so bad for you right now. I know it won't do anything for your pain/discomfort, but just know that you are much loved, and good thoughts and healing vibes are being sent your way. --from Pennsylvania USA
Oh geez I hope you feel better soon I had shingles worst pain I ever had. I had it on my thigh. my back and my leg was in so much pain. Get well soon my friend I really enjoy watching your videos
I also just completed the Shingrix series. Did not want to experience Shingles!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!!!
@@marcywendt9583 I had a terrible reaction to the first shot and was very apprehensive about getting the second one but, fortunately, I had no reaction to the second shot.
@@marcywendt9583I heard the same thing and my 2nd shot caused zero side effects. I had braced myself to feel terrible, and… nothing. Wishing you an easy 2nd shot!
@@marcywendt9583I had both the older version of the shingles vaccine and the new one - Shingrix - and I had no side effects from either version, other than a sore shoulder where i got the shot.
Take care Wayne ❤
I am so sorry! I've heard before that it's like the chicken pox but amplified by an unimaginable degree. I had chicken pox later than most, and it was absolutely miserable. I've always feared shingles since because I can't process the idea of it being even worse. I hate that this is happening to you! I hope that it clears up super quickly and that the meds stop wearing you down.
Oh Wayne I’m so sorry you have it! One of my best friends had it on her face and it was getting dangerously close to her eye! She was in so much pain too. She’s fine now. I hope you can manage to sleep through most of it with the relief you get from the pain killers. God bless.
Did you try blood letting as well?
Aww Wayne... I'm so sorry. Hoping, praying, and vibing for your speedy recovery!! This is the opposite of fun, I really hope it all leaves you alone ASAP. ::gentle hugs::
I'm so sorry you're dealing with this! I had a friend get shingles about a decade ago, so I made sure to get my shingles vaccine as soon as it was recommended (age 50 here in the US). I hope you get better soon.
Oh no… wishing you a speedy recovery. Poor you, not nice! I’ll be sending much healing ❤️🩹 xx
I appreciate your concern that you've shown for yourself mate. Don't get upset or knocked out because of this issue. You'll be better.
I’m so glad you shared your experience because I was told by a pharmacist that shingles doesn’t always present on your truck but is very painful. So I decided to get the vaccine for it since a couple of my relatives did describe it as being very painful.
Praying for a speedy recovery! My mom had shingles and I know she was in excruciating pain . This too shall pass ❤️🙏
So very sorry to hear thus, Wayne. Praying for speedy recovery. I was worried about you from your last video. Sending love ❤❤❤.
I'm so sad for you! I understand the intensity of pain and discomfort you are experiencing. I too am an RN who has cared for patients with shingles. Please take care of you. Be patient with your body. Peace and love be with you ❤
Wayne, I am so sorry! You have my sympathy! I’ve had it twice. The first time I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. And it wrapped around from back to front as well. Feel better soon! ❤
Glad to read your update and prayers for continued healing!! So sorry!!
Oh Wayne I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to have intense pain but it's nothing words are able to describe. I had chicken pox as a kid and have a fear of Shingles. Sending you all the healing thoughts. Much love to you xXx
I'm so sorry. My dad had shingles in his eye.... this is a man who worked every day while being treated for stage four non Hodgkin lymphoma ... and having the shingles in his eye was the only time I ever heard him complain about anything medical. I can only imagine. Sending intentions of love & light to speed the exit for your highest good & healing ...
Get well soon Wayne sending positive vibes your way.
Thank you for sharing. A coworker of mine described her case of shingles the same way as you… beaten up and set on fire. It took her more than a month to start to feel well enough to work (we are teachers). I am planning to get my shingles vaccine very soon and thank you for sharing.
I’m really sorry you are going through this. Take care of yourself. ❤
Wishing you a speedy and full recovery 🙏
I got shingles once after an intense, stressful interview process that looked very much like yours. It was sooo miserable 😩 the pain, burning and itchiness- I feel so much for you! I hope it clears up quickly 🙏💖🙏💖🙏
I’m so sorry, Wayne! Sending you love and gentle hugs ❤
I have a friend who's had this and it's devastating. I hope your pain lessens soon. Hugs!
Ooh Wayne I’m so sorry to hear this!! I pray you feel better soon!!❤❤
So glad you're starting to improve... I know it seems to last forEVER but it won't! (Positive healing Reiki energy coming your way, I PROMISE!) I hope you're back to your smiling, pain-free self soon! Sending you loads of love & compassion! {{gentle hug}}
Praying for your recovery.
At least your working for yourself and you can take the time you need to recover. Sending you virtual hugs and hopes for a quick recovery ❤
I am so sorry, Love. Please take care. Sending you many gentle hugs. ❤
Oh so sorry to hear this. Praying for your speedy recovery from this terrible thing. Hope it resolves and heals soonest. 🙏🏻
Me too … about ten days now. It’s getting better the last couple of days, but it’s a horridly painful slog. Mine is on the sciatic nerve. Take your meds, rest, eat well and tell everyone to give you space to get well. There’s no place on the body that’s better or worse to get it… it just sucks.
Take off your shirt - red or golden Light therapy, elderberry syrup, extra vitamins might help; I’ve been using them and I’m doing better and praying it all resolves soon.
I’m so sorry! I had Shingles last March and it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced. It took me down for an entire month and I felt like I was being electrocuted up my spine. I would literally cry on the couch from the extreme pain. Hope it passes soon and you’re back to good health!
God bless you and heal you quickly, sweet Wayne❤
Aw, Wayne. I am sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Sending you hugs.
I am so sorry to hear this! Hope you are on the road to recovery!! This reminds me I need to get my shingles vaccine! I have put it off for years.
I had it in my head and eye it's unbelievable pain . Please rest Wayne I feel for you. My pain has never gone away as they caught it to late xx
Sending you all the healing vibes Wayne ❤️🩹 🤍
