MALDON MUD RACE 2014

Started in 1975, as a bet in a local pub, this annual 'mud race' event has become world famous, with people of all ages and from all walks of life, racing across the River Blackwater at Promenade Park, Maldon in Essex, UK.
In order to get a front row seat, and to get to video part of this event, I had to stand among a tightly packed crowd of people, for over an hour with my Sony, with very little movement to pan my camcorder!
I will have to wear waders next year, to video this unusual event again! Hope you enjoy the video and the naked man who also took part!
