Obviously, at some point DJ Shadow brought me here. But... Sekoilu Seestyy is one of the most beautiful, haunting melodies I've ever heard. I would never even know about it if it wasn't for him. So, DJ Shadow, thank you, you are my hero.

For some reason I can't believe this was made in the 70s. Sounds way more modern. Amazing piece.

You don't complain that the bartender uses liquor made by someone else, but it's wonderful when that liquor is mixed with others to make something more than the sum of it's parts. If you can't appreciate something existing in a newly created context, perhaps art just isn't for you.

    Chords!!!
On the web i did not found good chord transciption for this tune. Let just say that the few ones i checked were totally wrong.
    Here's my attempt:
    Gmin - F - Ebmaj7(no third?) - Dmin9 (repeat 4x)
    Eb/Bb - F/A - Bb/Ab - Eb/G - GbminMaj7 - Gbmin - Dmin
Here slash means 'over', (F/A is an F major with the A on the bass).
GbminMaj7 means a Gbmin chord with an added major seventh.
On guitar it can be done pretty easily, but I had to lower the leading note an octave from the Bb/Ab onwars for playability... here's how i do it (if i didnt mess around when typing):
    3553xx Gmin
    1x321x F
    x687xx Ebmaj7
    x5755x Dmin9
    6x888x Eb/Bb
    5xx565 F/A
    4x333x Bb/Ab
    3x534x Eb/G
    2xx221 GbminMaj7
    2xx222 Gbmin
    x5x765 Dmin
