Great job out there, and by yourself....what a challenge/blast!
@@fishlovme thanks!!
Hell yeah! Dragon slayer on a wire can never fail ya, such an amazing flasher goes good with virtually any fly
Yup! I have the dragon slayer on one of my rods out there 99% of the time.
Wow great video! Great fishing and a great looking son you are blessed!
Thanks!
Wow what a morning, nice!!!
It was a fantastic morning! 🎣
Look at that view. Beautiful morning out there
It was a gorgeous morning on the big pond! 🎣
I love fishing out there solo.Very challenging.I go out there a lot by myself just for the challenge.First you gotta figure out best depth of water. Then you have to figure what depth there most active at.Then you have to figure out what they want to eat and only running three rodes you can only cover so much.On top of all that you have to try to land them yourself and with long leaders on dipsy divers it a challenge when you get monster kings on.Thers no other kind of fish I would rather target.Kings are starting to show up in port Washington.Last 3 trips in a week I got atleast one in the boat.
Definitely a challenge out there solo that’s for sure! Can’t wait to get back out there for some kings
Awesome! That's fun out there when you get into em.
Yes it is! Can’t wait to do it again
What a morning on the big lake.
Sure was! 🎣
Dragon Slayer....what a nice flasher
My favorite!
This was very impressive my friend, salmon fishing by yourself assume video.
Thanks! 🎣
Awesome job. That looked like alot fun
Thanks!! It was a blast, can’t wait to do it again 🎣
@CNCoutdoors I'm hoping to get out there soon too
Bleed fish in the live well for a bit before throwing them in cooler. Keeps cooler cleaner 😉
But then my live-well will get dirty 🤷🏼♂️ I’ve thought about bleeding them out on a stringer behind the boat but haven’t done it yet.
cool little guy
awesome!
Do you have any safety systems in case you fall in when netting a fish in the back of the boat? I dont fish solo on Lake Michigan because of that fear, just curious if anything exists
Good question! I was actually thinking about that out there after my 1st or 2nd fish. I put my trolling motor remote around my neck so if i were to fall in i could steer the boat back to myself.
@@CNCoutdoors I've been doing a lot of research and found a few wireless engine cutoff systems that would work. Fell marine makes one (mob+) with a watch style wireless fob that shuts off the engine if you get far enough away from the boat.
@@tev2229 that would be a really cool idea!
Little man is getting so big
Yes he is!!
Good job bud. May cohos don't care, they'll eat everything. 2 weeks ago I got 1 96 down on a rigger, on a 13" flasher and meat
Thanks man!! That’s one hungry coho 😂
Great end to your vid ❤
Thanks 😊
Good work!!
Thanks!! 🎣
What year and size boat is that your fishing with? Great video good info.
Thanks! My boat is a 2018 Alumacraft Competitor 185 Shadow Series so it’s 18’ 5”
What speed and depth were you trolling at? That looked like a lot of fun!!
It sure was! I was fishing 120-150’ and running the boat 2.2- 2.4mph
What reels are you running on the wire divers
