Elevate your driving experience in 2025! From hardware kits for seamless parking monitoring to CPL filters for glare-free clarity, suction mounts for flexibility, wireless remotes for convenience, and memory cards for uninterrupted recording-these must-haves redefine functionality and ensure superior footage every time. In fact, this video (and the subsequent remarks published by other viewers) subtly indicates one to form a basis of selection of a dashcam, for which accessories are easily accessible 🙂
I appreciate your assistance in helping users find the right solutions. The OBD2 parking monitor setup is quite convenient. however, I have noticed that not many brands offer this option. Previously, I inquired about how to set up this feature in one of your older videos. Im not sure if you remember that. Currently, I am using the Focuway D4 Duo dashcam, which I believe follows a design common among several leading brands. This company provides a hardwire parking kit with a fuse-based setup which I'm hesitant to use it. I am curious if there exists an OBD2-based parking surveillance setup compatible with this specific model. Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work !
You will have to enquire with the manufacturer of your specific brand regarding OBD2 kit. Other third party solutions might be available but I wouldn't recommend it
@traveltechyoutube Thanks. I see they have only fuse based harwire kit available. Do you know if there are any cons with this OBD2 setup? If not, I wonder why other dashcam brands are not offering this OBD2 based set-up.
Is the CPL filter helps to detect the number plate in nights like starvis 2 in a starvis equiped camera ( nexdigitron prime plus)? Pls provide suction mount, 2usb adapter for 12v socket and CPL filter link for nexdigitron prime plus
Yes it helps even in night. Check here: ua-cam.com/video/LwwOW8YAwns/v-deo.htmlsi=_4pae0SNOggzTqCn There is no suction mount available for Prime Plus 2usb port adapter: amzn.to/40cbVPr
Hi bro, I am looking for a powerbank for parking mode in Redtiger F17. Service centre warranty/insurance guy said all electrical warranty will void if I use any hardwire method (using fuse , even if it is accessory fuse). He said we can only use ignition power for anything other than OE. Please suggest. I have checked with redtiger guy and they said currently they don't have any power banks for dashcam parking mode.
There is no specific power bank for parking monitoring of any brand dashcam. But to solve your problem of warranty, check this: ua-cam.com/video/XEPeijhTyHA/v-deo.htmlsi=72chllm7KY2WCFkN
You are suggesting micro sd cards for HD 2k 4k recording. But the the problem here is how to select the micro sd card for different front and rear camera resolution. Having a dual channel set with front 4k and rear2k which is the micro sd card variety evo pro ultimate to be selected.
Yes, in timelapse mode. But it also depends on your car battery health and charge holding capacity. If the battery voltage drops fast, the hardwire kit turns off the power to the dashcam. So parking may not record for continuous 24 hours
Most of the hardwire kits come with cut-off protection (upto 11.8V for Viofo), so if your car's battery goes below that level, it'll cut off power to the dashcam and prevent drain.
also, many old cars have only one 12V slot. In my case, that slot is always occupied by dashcam. Is there any accessory that can convert single 12V port to dual Port?
I have lost my blueskysea b1w dashcam mount. Struggling to get a mount. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks

Do we have an obd2 wiring kit for qubo dashcam pro 2.7k?
No

For dual channel, select for highest resolution, that is 4K. Going with Pro Ultimate is a better choice for longer life.
Hi. Do all dashcam record 24 hr parking if we use dashcam hardwire kit?
Yes, in timelapse mode. But it also depends on your car battery health and charge holding capacity. If the battery voltage drops fast, the hardwire kit turns off the power to the dashcam. So parking may not record for continuous 24 hours
@traveltechyoutube Thanks
Does hard wiring kit leads to battery drain if I don't drive the car for a month??
Most of the hardwire kits come with cut-off protection (upto 11.8V for Viofo), so if your car's battery goes below that level, it'll cut off power to the dashcam and prevent drain.
@gaurav5696 thank you brother but will i get this cut off feature in 70mai a510 ??
Yes the 70mai hard wire kits support cut-off
