  • Brian and I recently lost our friend Eric. It's a lot for his friends and family to process and is why we have not been posting as much recently. Just wanted to share a few thoughts on him and how we feel in his absence. Thanks for your support.

The death of a friend is always tough, I really hope the grieving process isn't too rough. Please don't give up on the channel, I love your content!

Maybe so, but I've been depressed before. I think it's good for them to be reminded that their content is loved! I don't want to pressure Chris or Brian, I just want to let them know that they do a really good job, and I'd hate to see them disappear.

I know this video was hard for you guys to make, given all that has happened. My heart still goes out to you two and to Eric and his family. I admire both of your abilities to be able to post this video.
All of the talk on Discord about our kids' struggles and then this happened out of the blue. Even though I don't really know Eric it made me question many things for quite a while. I still am, it doesn't make sense with life and all. Bad things always seem to happen to the best people.
I guess, if we all can take something away from this. It is that we should always live our lives to the fullest, to the best within our capacities. And always, always put those you love first and foremost. Work your ass off to make everyday the best day for those people.
I have to stop typing because I can't really see the screen atm. Stay courageous and keep moving forward guys. God bless, I really care about everyone.

This definitely made me think and made me reconsider how I spend my time. There are those who do want to spend time and have fun with me in the group but I feel too much of a loner, meaning I almost always want to be left alone. But .. I should do my best to be more of a friend from now on.

Hey. I don't comment usually but I've been following you guys for a year or two, and I really enjoy your channel. I'm sorry for your loss. Something like this happened to a childhood friend of mine a few years ago, when we were in our twenties, and it was very strange and painful in a different way than when I lost people to things like accidents or cancer. It's harder to grasp "why" something has happened when you might never directly know why. It made me feel helpless when the loss already left me feeling that way, and everyone in my friend's group, as well as our friend's family, reacted in various ways . Mourning is personal, it's different for everyone, and while it does get better, I think it always stays with you in some ways. I don't have advice on how to get past it except to do your best to sleep and eat and don't wear yourself out more than you have to, because trauma like this is not only an emotional drain, but a physical one. Games will be there when you're ready to come back, and so will we.

Brain swelling is a clue to the problem. Most people don't realize all the problems that can occur from having high blood pressure. I have had a couple of young friends in the past year have bad complications from uncontrolled blood pressure. Both were in their 30's and both never paid attention to their BP untill it was to late. One has severe seizures now and is totally disabled and the other lost most of his memories and learning abilities. When PB gets too high it causes the little blood vessels in the brain to pop or hemorrhage. Depending on where that vessel is decides what kind of damage you have.
If you have HBP, a cough can be lethal. One hard cough and you can break blood vessels all over.
Your blood pressure is nothing to play around with.

the way you talk about him it sounds like he was your soulmate. people mistakenly believe soulmates are romantic interests but sometimes they can be good friends or family. perhaps he was your dad or older brother in a previous life. i personally feel when people like this leave our life it's for our soul's own personal growth. it's up to us if we wallow in despair or forge our self into a stronger person.

Loss of a peer is rough, my cousin's husband died about the same age, its a real kick in the pants about your own mortality.

I don't mean any disrespect, but do you really think it's in good taste to have monetization on? Because whatever ad revenue you're making off of this, I can't imagine it's that much to be worth sending checks over. I imagine the amount given would be so small, it would be kind of an insult. Like if someone sent you $2 (or however much ad revenue is on this particular video) a month for your dead dad, I would probably rather not get any money at all, than to be reminded of him and his death for such a small check. Also kind of amazed you would put the positive outro on this, with Brian saying "if you want to check out videos just like this one". Like, do we really want to check out your channel to see more videos like THIS ONE? More videos about horrible tragic deaths? I dunno, man, I'm just saying... it comes off as a bit inappropriate and tone deaf to me. I wish Eric's family the best in coping with this, he sounded like a great guy.
