Thanks Cecil. Grasping the geographical significance of the text has been one of the most exhilarating parts of coming to understand the Bible better. I'm grateful for your words and for the journey you're on as well. Grace and peace!
Thanks. Some argue that Urkesh, a location in present day northeastern Syria, is the Ur referred to in the Biblical text. If that is correct, then traveling from Ur(kesh) through Harran to reach Canaan makes better sense, rather than traveling from the southern Mesoptamian/Sumerian city of Ur.
Thanks Todd. Yes, I'm aware of the possibility of the Ur(kesh) connection. If that turns out to be the case, it would certainly make better sense than the long journey from Southern Mesopotamia. Hopefully, the archaeology will continue to bear fruit and bring greater clarity on items like these. Take care!
Loved this teaching. So powerful. Thank you and looking forward to digging deeper into the word.
Thanks Kent. So glad you're digging deeper alongside us!
FANTASTIC LESSON
Thanks James!
Excellent Brad. Amazing connections you make and show us to be more inquiring and observant throughout the Bible. Thank you

I liked the teaching a lot. I am older and the moving bright light transition was distracting, so I thought I would mention it.
Donald, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We're taking it into consideration as we close out the series.
