the most unprofessional hosts i've ever seen. i feel bad for these guys considering it was their first live demo. the oven looks amazing. wish it was closer to $900 though. hopefully v2 will be less than a grand.
Very cool!
I went to their site and find out this is a $1500 for a 1 cubic foot volum oven, and u can get a same size regular oven for $70 on Amzon.
$1,500 for this?,
the most I would pay is $250
You are correct, new tech always expensive
Takes way less than a grand to make this in china
I totally agree. It's way too expensive. It really only saves you some hassle when backing. You can preheat, guess at a cooking time, set a timer, make sure you don't forget and take your food out. But that's a hassle. This oven is great in eliminating a hassle. But $1500? I don't bake that often. It's too expensive.
stupidly over priced. its still a toaster oven. I an get a convention/steam toaster oven and make food better than this, for like $300. If you know how to cook, you know how to cook. Its a great idea and definitely the way into the future. before you know it, You'll be able to get this tech on any oven before this company has a chance to get big. I dont think they're going to sell many at $1500. Fancy it up as much as you want, and call it a Dyson. its still a toaster oven.
Her name is Joanna Stern
These hosts were cringeworthy and rude...
So they studied the kitchen and decided it needs an overpriced gadget that can message you on your phone to bring a fire extinguisher 🧯 right away.
"Machine intelligence"
These guys worked at Apple...
Cool but I agree the host female was rude
"poor food network I guess"
Jesus Christ that co host was rude, god knows how much effort they out into the demo and the product itself.
Anyone else wanna see Wile E. Coyote beat these people with a shovel?
Have the actors heard of a small micro company that has phones too?
&1500.00 ? gibe me a break, I give GearBest a few months and theirs will come out for around $199.95
holy shit so awkward but yeah cool
1500 for oven? Did Apple engineers learn from Apple marketing team or were they all picked in the same cornfield?
Gimmick, $600 for a oven that can't do any better than $69 toaster oven can do. It doesn't thermal map the contents just takes into account every thing cooks the same. One slice of bacon doesn't cook the same as other and now your talking up to 10 different slices. Doesn't take into account different types of steak and thinkness just cooks all the same, probe can't test them all.
wow these hosts wereSO bad. Do they not have to interview for the position'''? The WSJ should have some basic standards
I didn't like either of the hosts. Horrible hosts to have introducing a new product like this.
Joanna Stern has always been annoying and cringe worthy. But she’s a female in the tech industry so she’s always gotten a pass.
